Plant-eating, stick eating, plastic biting, cardboard biting etc is the desire to taste something with different taste or texture.

Flowing water encourages drinking! They don't see well right in front of them; feel and sound of flowing water helps them locate.

Might seem related box behavior, but not true. Rather, he/she is trying to hide their food for consumption later.

He/she knows why your attention has been or is, and is waiting for it!

Sudden swatting when you are giving attention
At times they may scratch/swat you while petting/massaging. This is common, as they are saying "oK that’s my limit."

Why do some cats attack the ankles?
Ankle attacking happens for some cats, and reasons are different. It might be a sign of play, or sign of loneliness.
