A storyboard should convey some of the following information:‘What characters are in the frame, and how are they moving?What are the characters saying to each other, if anything?How much time has passed between the last frame of the storyboard and the current one?Where the "camera" is in the scene? Close or far away? Is the camera moving?’

‘A shot list is a full log of all the shots you want to include in your film; essentially it is a checklist filled with minute details that will give your film a sense of direction and efficiency.’

‘The simplest way [to make a shot list] is to have four columns: shot number, shot type, action, notes. However you can customise a shot list to include whatever you think is necessary to illustrate your vision.’
