tephanie Bosch studied first recorder and baroque transverse flute in Cologne/Wuppertal as ell as in Rotterdam where she post graduated in 2002 with distinction. Numerous master lasses complemented her professional training. She is the founder of the Baroque hamber music Ensemble „La Gioia Köln“ as well as playing baroque transverse flute with ifferent Baroque Orchestras.

y lucky coincidence she discovered the north Indian flute Bansuri and became a disciple of andit Hariprasad Chaurasia, the “living legend” and charismatic Bansuri-Maestro. ascinated by the sweet sound of the instrument she studied with him in Bombay and otterdam and post graduated finally “summa cum laude” at the World Music Department f Rotterdams Conservatory under his guidance in 2007. Additionally she got a scholarship

In addition to a our in Germany in spring 2007 with 16 concerts, she did interviews and recordings at the WDR for a adio broadcast. ntensive occupation with “Ancient Music” on one hand and Indian Classical Music on the ther hand is influencing each other and forms the characteristic sound of Stephanie Bosch.
