Let’s look at the surveys…

Step Up: Missional Leadership

Jesus’ mission: Luke 4:18-19; Luke 19:10 Jesus came to serve and to save

These are the qualities/mentalities that we should have and beMissional leadership is focus on Christ, not on usIt has to be Christ centered rather than people

centeredGod is a missionary God…I need to join on His mission (modeling)Missional leaders is not telling people how to be/do

mission, but you are doing mission with the people you serve through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit that they may do it themselves

If you, Pastors/leaders, are not engage in God’s mission, how can you lead others to engage in God’s mission

Step Up Leadership1. I personally Engage in God’s mission (Modeling):

Do have have concern for the lost? Have I led my church to reach out to those in need? Have I witness the Gospel to those that God put in my

path or place of work? Have you pray for people that you do know but you

know they need Jesus? Be a world Christian, instead of just be a church goer How is Christ show up in your daily life (in the way you

live your life, do people know that you are a Christian?) Helping the hurting (having compassion toward others)

Modeling Missional Leadership

2. Have I lead others to join Jesus on His mission? (Leadership) If you lead people without you yourself engaging in God’s

mission hypocrisy

3. Have I equipped others to join Jesus on His mission (Multiplication)

Our job is not to great, but help other to know that God is great Our job is not to become superman, but help every Christian to

recognize that God has called them to mission Our task is not to stay behind closed door because of our fear,

but to engage the world that is greatly in need of the gospel Jesus Christ to join Him in His mission to serve and save that the salvation is being preached to all ntaions.

I hope that we can provoke the members of our church to join Jesus on His mission--- this is step up this is missional leadership.
