Stella tried everything to hide her arm, butnothing worked. The other sea stars calledher “ugly” and “funny-looking”. Poor Stelladidn’t know what to do.

One night, Stella and the other sea stars leftwith their leader, King Neptune, in search ofclams and oysters. When they arrived nearthe shore, the little ones slowly worked theirway onto the beach to find clams. The oldersea stars continued toward the oyster beds.

“Take care,” warned King Neptune.“When you are finished, we’ll come backfor you.”
