Summer Release 2013 - School Workforce Census 2013Changes to DfE Specification: The DfE specification has not changed much for 2013 apart from moving the dates one year onHowever, the DfE has told us that it is acceptable for a school to include an amount for Basic Pay that is not in line with what can be calculated from other information the school has included, e.g. scaleDealing with Pay Issues: We will introduce a panel for Payments Amounts. The panel will only appear if a patch has been applied to open up this new functionalityThis will default the basic pay amount to what is calculate from the other pay details, or 0 if those details are not availableThe school will then be able to change the Payment Amounts to reflect what they are actually paying

Non EDI Result Entry for EnglandImport DfE QAN Catalogue from QWS has been renamed to Import Qualification Data and now includes import of a Performance Measures XML file. The Performance Measures XML file is provided from SupportNet and is derived from The Register of Regulated Qualifications (RRQ).30Non EDI Result Entry for EnglandSelection of students takes place as previously, but clicking Add Result will provide an entry screen where much of the content is automatically filled from the information contained in the Performance Measures XML file.

Non EDI Result Entry for EnglandIn this case the Subject Code has been auto-filled, as there is only one Discount Code (Subject Code) for the QAN.Where there is more than one Discount Code for the QAN, the user will need to choose the Subject Code that appliesOnce the QAN and Subject Code are identified several more fields are auto-filled.Course will only be auto-filled if a course already exists with the QAN and Discount Code.33
