DOSH SCHEDULE IVAll pressure equipment manufactured or imported for use in Malaysia requires certification of the manufacturing process by third-party inspection organizations; these have to be authorized as ‘Inspection Authorities’ by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health or DOSH.

VELOSI is gazetted as an ‘Inspection Authority’ by DOSH under Schedule IV of Regulation 7 (2) (iv) of the Factory and Machinery Act 139.

Central Boilers Board – IndiaThe Central Boilers Board of India, constituted under the Indian Boilers Act 1923 (5 of 1923) lays the standards for materials, design and construction as well as for the registration and inspection of boilers. The Board recognises VELOSI as an Inspection Authority and Competent Authority to inspect boiler materials and fabrication carried out outside India, including approval of welding methods and welders.

Ministry of Manpower – SingaporeVELOSI is accredited by the MOM for the design review, fabrication surveys, and certification of pressure systems during construction for all pressure Equipments which are imported into Singapore to ensure compliance with the Singapore Regulations.
