When Chronologic was acquired in the mid 90’s, Massey co-founded VCS, Inc, a design development and verification consulting firm, with customers such as Cisco, Stratacom, Silicon Graphics (SGI), and Sun Microsystems. Massey and the team at VCS then founded Surefire Verification, which he and his partners merged with Verisity Design. The combined company was named the “Best Performing IPO of 2001" and traded under the symbol VRST on the NASDAQ. In 2003, Massey decided to branch out from EDA Software into Cloud based Communications and in 2010 he started building Cache La Tech. In his spare time he continues to explore where technology is headed and assists technology start-ups in getting off the ground.

About Todd Massey and Cache La Tech, Inc. Todd Massey is CEO of Cache La Tech (www.cachelatech.com), a company offering cloud-

based solutions for email-archiving. Massey is a successful and experienced entrepreneur with a

proven track record. He honed his business and software development skills in Silicon Valley,

working for several leading-edge technology companies before starting up his own business.

Massey has developed and brought to market many software products that have generated

hundreds of millions in revenue. During his days in Silicon Valley Massey was mentored by

business and technology giants in the industry including Jon Rubinstein, Allen Michaels and

Gorden Bell.

At age 22, Massey was recruited by Ardent Computer, where he developed Unix kernel security,

networking, and I/O sub systems for a multi-processor super-computer. A young engineer with

the ability to fix problems and get the machines operational in the field, Massey found himself in

high demand, traveling all over the globe to interface with customers.

Massey then went on to Chronologic Simulation where he developed the world’s fastest Verilog

simulator (VCS) on a multiprocessor and first Verilog model compiler (VMC). Both products are

now owned by Synopsys. VCS is the de-facto standard for chip design more than 20 years later.

When Chronologic was acquired in the mid 90’s, Massey co-founded VCS, Inc, a design

development and verification consulting firm, with customers such as Cisco, Stratacom, Silicon

Graphics (SGI), and Sun Microsystems. Massey and the team at VCS then founded Surefire

Verification, which he and his partners merged with Verisity Design. The combined company

was named the “Best Performing IPO of 2001" and traded under the symbol VRST on the

NASDAQ. In 2003, Massey decided to branch out from EDA Software into Cloud based

Communications and in 2010 he started building Cache La Tech. In his spare time he continues

to explore where technology is headed and assists technology start-ups in getting off the ground.
