START YOUR DAY RIGHT WITH THIS DETOX DRINK Ginger Lemon Detox Drink: the best, first step to your detox Fall is just around the corner! And, the change of seasons is one of the best times to do a cleanse

or detox. So, all my posts this week are going to be about how to go about a natural detox, how

to know if you need one and how to start gently.

I am always going to suggest that you start with something simple and gentle that you can do

with natural food products easily found in your cupboard or grocery store. If it makes you feel

overwhelmed, it only adds stress to your health and your life. Very counter-productive! I drink

this Ginger Lemon Detox Drink almost every morning.

One of the reasons it is important to get a good night’s sleep is because our body’s use that time

to heal, rebuild and cleanse the cells, organs, and systems. When we awake, the bi-products of

this (dead cells and waste products) are ready to be released through the urine and the feces.

This makes it a perfect time to sip something that assists that process, alkalizes the blood and

primes our digestive system for the day ahead. Some folks report this reduces belly bloat.

Additionally, it can clear the morning brain fog and help you to feel energized. Now that’s the

way to start the day!

Ginger Lemon Detox Drink • 1 bag Ginger Tea – you can find this in most grocery stores. If not, you can use slices of

fresh ginger. Brew this in good clean water. • Add to it the Juice of 1/2 Lemon (organic if possible) • If you like, sweeten with Stevia or Honey (local honey adds anti-allergy benefits) • Drink at least 15-30 minutes before breakfast. • Optional additions: Pure cranberry juice, cinnamon, or cayenne.
