We are offering a pre-adventure meetup in Athens for those who have a connecting flight. Please contact me for an easy and inexpensive travel tips to help this optional travel suggestion become a reality.

Attributes of fertility and renewal are expressed in her association with the tree (or pillar) and snake symbolism, respectively. After transporting you from Chania airport, wash away the travel day at our private villa. Unpack and unwind as you set your eyes on the sea, your feet in the pool and take in the sun. In the evening, we will open our circle to set our intentions, as our private chef and assistant prepare our meal. We are dining alfresco. Our three-course meal allows you to sit back, relax and anticipate a memorable gastronomic experience. As the Greek say, Kali Orexi or Bon Appetit.

Itinerary continued Day 2 From Vine to Table, the Cretan Way Group exploration. Vine-to-table Cretan Vine Experience. Friday, Sept. 18st

After group circle, we will depart at 10:30 am for a vine-to-table experience among the slopes of the white mountains. Here we will explore the Cretan perspective whose vigorous resistance to occupation and interruption of history continue to return to simplicity. Learn how Cretan’s organically cultivate their vines to produce wines – white, red and rosé – that absorb the taste of a verdant landscape. We will participate in a wine tasting with cheese plate, and tour of the winery. As we explore the area, including the olive museum (if open) during our visit. Before departing for the villa, we will lunch by the sea. Spend the remaining afternoon by the sea or pool. After group dinner, allow spirit to show the way.

Optional Fee-to-Fabulous Moment throughout our stay: What a blessing to have a well-trained masseuse to provide private table massage at our villa. Joanna is an alternative therapist with a degree in Neuropathy from C.N.M College of London. Her wealth of experience in Chinese Medicine (Reflexology and Sujok) and other alternative therapy methods will help make your stay more memorable. Fees vary depending on service: €55 for 50-minute full body massage; €65 for 60-minutes Aromatherapy massage with Cretan bio essential oils unique to your personal needs. Should you decide to pamper yourself, additional services are upon request.

Day 3 Exploring the Minoan Palace at Phaistos Group Exploration. Central Southern Crete, Phaistos Saturday, Sept. 19th

I have cultivated a day to explore two Minoan Palaces. However, should the group feel pulled to another activity, this is the freedom of not having an agenda but to allow your spirit the opportunity to adjust your day as needed. Here is a sample of what this day would look like. After our daily group circle, we depart for the fertile Mesara plain in central Crete. The Minoan Palace of Phaistos is said to have been inhabited since the late Neolithic period (ca. 3600-3000 BCE). We will continue to walk in the footsteps of the Goddesses as we explore the Palace of Phaistos

with our accredited guide. Experience this important archaeological site which was excavated by archaeologist Federico Halbherr and his student Antonio Taramelli at the beginning of the 20th century. The artistic skills of Minoan architects are visible throughout the palatial grounds, from old to the new palace period. See the remains of the monumental propylon and large staircases, royal quarters, storerooms, lustral basins, workshops and theatre. Discover the architectural theme of palatial centers and learn about the most important finds from this area, such as the Phaistos disk and the Kamares fine pottery. Travel back through the layers of time when the Neolithic goddesses celebrated life at this important historical site and likely along the sacred Minoan river, Leropotamous (Geropotamous) River which is the only river in Crete to flow year-round. Like the goddesses before us, we will hold ceremony here.

Our explorative day continues onward to the neighboring Agia Triada Archeological site depending on group interest. Agia Triada is a small palace with a royal villa built in the 16th century. While smaller than Knossos and Phaistos, it too contains all of the features of Minoan palatial architecture. Among some of the significant finds is the one and only Agia Triada sarcophagus, the clay figurines known as the Agia Triada dancers, exquisite stone cups and vases, now housed at the Archaeological museum in Heraklion.

During our full day exploration of the area, we will enjoy the café at Phaistos, lunch and have an early dinner nearby, as desired, all at our leisure before returning to the villa.

In lieu of day ceremony on site, we will not be gathering for evening ceremony or circle.

Day 4 Chania, Venetian Port city Group to individual exploration. Chaniá. Sunday, Sept. 20th

Departing at 11 am for Chania, we will journey by Starseed van to Chania harbor city, known for its 14th-century Venetian harbor, narrow streets, quaint stores and

waterfront restaurants. Since ancient times, the port city of Chania has seen many conquerors and cultural influences evident in the city’s archaeological history. Rich

cultural life is apparent in the Turkish, Muslim, and Jewish quarters reflecting strong cultural identity and architectural styles. See the 16th-century lighthouse with

Venetian, Egyptian and Ottoman influences. Explore the spectacular old city with its distinctive atmosphere and Venetian and Turkish charm. Visit the Archaeological Museum

housed in the Venetian monastery of Saint Francis which houses cultural history from the Neolithic period to the Roman era and then, visit the Minoan site within the city where the Linear B tablet was

found. See the Cathedral of Trimartyei or browse a bookshop for books on Atlantis. Sip Greek coffee at Venizelos Square with its fountain and surrounding cafes, shops, cafes, neo-Greek restaurants, and traditional trellised tavernas. Experience culinary sensory overload in the old city Demotiki Agora, the municipal market square, with stalls of food for purchase. The Cretans built this market as a copy of the market in Marseilles which is in the shape of a cross. There are lots of little alleys to get lost in and a sea to charter a glass bottom boat on. This day adventure is yours, allowing you to take in as much or as little as you want, should you prefer to return to villa by taxi or meet the group lunch and early dinner. Rejoin the group for evening group circle and energy exploration.

Day 4– White Mountain Experience Group Exploration. Farm to Table Cretan Food Experience. Sunday, Sept. 20th

Our short-day adventure explores the limestone White Mountain, known as Lefka Ori in Greek. We take in the views of the gorge of Theriso by Starseed van. Enjoy the tree-lined river that runs along the gorge for 3.7 miles or 6 km providing the greenery of chestnuts and oaks. Take in views as we build up our appetites while slowly taking in the day as we pass goats and sheep along this stunning scenery. We will stop along the way for drinks and celebratory leisure in Theriso, a small Cretan village before making our way to the village of Drakona, which means dragon in Greek. Here, we will be treated to a traditional Cretan meal made in clay pots over a wood fire in a farm to table setting. Everything here is locally sourced with signature flavors and seasonal dishes prepared the traditional way.

Hippocrates, circa 400 B.C., stated: “Let food be thy medicine.” Crete put the Mediterranean diet on the map and since ancient Greek mythology stated the Gods ate ambrosia to gain Herculean strength, so must we in mind, body, spirit.

From homemade bread, wine, graviera cheese, meat and vegetable dishes, your senses will be inspired and delighted. The food is uncomplicated, the pace is slow and the setting is classic farm. On our return to our private villa, we will stop off at a locally known owl café for sea views and coffee, maybe a few desserts on the veranda, I hear the view is amazing….All that mountain to sea air will make you hungry, not a single goddess to judge if a few honey drenched mini baklavas make their way back to the villa lounge chair as you sweat those Greek calories off under the Mediterranean sun. Rejoin the group for evening group circle and energy exploration.

Itinerary continued Day 5 Beach, Beach, Beach Group exploration. Akrotiri. Monday, Sept. 21th

Where to beach? Crete offers amazing beaches, from blue flag to rolling surf, soft white sand to rugged limestone cliffs. After breakfast, we begin our day in circle at the villa to deepen into the change energy we wish to embody. This restorative day allows each person to familiarize oneself with the sheltered beaches around our villa, by foot or private taxi. You decide how much sand and sea you wish to experience, and for how long. Or to settle into the villa poolside and have food delivered to the house. Many of the local beaches offer food to purchase, lounge chairs and umbrellas for rent. From the local nude beach near our villa to the famed white sand beach of Stavos, with its circular bay and blue flag designation. Cool off in the sea and giving a nod to Anthony Quinn who danced the Sirtaki here during the filming of Zorba the Greek in 1964.

We know that life is never about the destination rather the experience along the way.

Rejoin the group for dinner and desired experience.

Day 6 Celebrating the Autumnal Equinox – Choices… Group to solo exploration. Sea or Mountain. Tuesday, Sept. 22th

Our inner cave retreat allows the most amazing souls to deepen within themselves. To be willing to sit in the darkness so fully that the equinox light may be balanced within. Each day so far, provides time to be with ourselves (our cells), to allow your fullness to surface, without judgement, without bypassing, without adhering to social ideals and conformity. Thus, our Equinox day is about choice. Create your own day or pick from two selected fee-based choices.

Optional Fee Excursion:

We will journey by Starseed van to Chania harbor to board our private motor yacht for a celebratory day at sea. Departing for Balos to swim in turquoise waters with white and pink sand. Afterward, we will depart for Gramvousa, where a full lunch is served, before or after your visit to the famous Venetian castle located on top of the island. Snorkle & Mask are provided as well as noodles for floating. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks served during the cruise. Our day will include a festive

gathering to celebrate the energies of the equinox while at sea. Return to Chania at 5:30 p.m. Dinner in Chania before returning to villa.

Optional Fee Excursion in lieu of above:

Samaria Gorge is one of the longest gorges in Europe, located in Crete’s only national park, and provides stunning views all day long. Should you decide to submerse-yourself-in-nature-option, your day trip starts early with a 6:15 a.m. bus ride from Chania to Omalos for an early breakfast, then entrance into Samaria Gorge at 8:00 am. Walk at your own pace and without a guide. Approximately at 1:30 pm you will end your hike at the village of Agia Roumeli. You will have time for a swim and to have lunch. At 5:15 pm you will take a boat which brings you to Sougia (one-hour boat trip). At Sougia, a bus will be waiting for you to bring you back to Chania, arriving about 8 pm. Everything else about the hike will be explained by Thomas who will also take care of you and provide the entrance tickets and boat tickets. Please note, while the White Mountains unique flora and fauna and the small river running through it are exceedingly beautiful. Depending on your experience and stamina, your 5-6 hour walk is a downhill descent from mountain village (3,937 ft or 1,200 meters) to the Libyan Sea which means your knees and you need to get along. For that reason, athletic skill is required. Costs: €22 for bus and €5 Samaria entrance fee. Please note, you will need to taxi to your pickup and drop off location.

In lieu of day ceremony, our evening circle may or may not be needed.

Day 7 Group Decision Group Exploration. Wednesday, Sept 23th

Group decision on how we will spend our last celebratory day in Crete. Take in another Minoan Palatial site, swim one or more crystal beaches in Crete, visit an island, connect to the land in ceremony. For those who want more beach, may I suggest a short drive and rocky hike down to Stefanou Beach for that “I did this” moment and swim. There are goats around, so I hear, I’ll hide the picnic backpack. Or an hour and a half drive to the south side of Crete to swim Prevelli beach and take in that “other side.” The purpose of our gathering is to celebrate the goddess within you by providing energetic space, the magic of women who honor each other and the alchemical process of spiritual evolution individually and collectively. Therefore, this adventure is not static nor following a mental path

executed by time constraints, it is a serpentine path that moves to the inner beat of YOUR soul. Athena asks each of us to develop our unique path to JOY, to embody and live fully and to celebrate our lives.
