New Gate The New Gate is one of the four city gates of Neubrandenburg. It is located on the east side of the medieval fortifications. It was build in the second half of the 15th century. Its foregate and connecting walls had to be broken down in 1852. The New Gate was build in a New- Gothic style. Only the main gate has survived. Today there are the houses of the Fritz- Reuter- Society.

Das Neue TorDas Neue Tor ist eins der vier Stadttore Neubrandenburgs.Es befindet sich an der Ostseite der mittelalterlichen Befestigungen und wurde in der 2. Hälfte des 15. Jahr-hunderts erbaut.Das Vortor und die Verbindungsmauern wurden 1852 abgerissen.Das Neue Tor wurde im Neugotischen Stil erbaut.Nur das Haupttor ist erhalten geblieben.Heute befindet sich dort die Fritz-Reuter – Gesellschaft.
