Temporarily acted as the People & Culture leader for the Headquarters Business Unit while a new leader was
being recruited.
Serve in a prompt and professional manner as the main contact for employee relations, issues, or conflicts dealing
with confidential or time sensitive disagreements.
Act as a liaison between management and the employees involved to ensure the issues were resolved.
Primary HR contact for the Health & Safety Committee: Responsible for all Health & Safety elements related to
accident prevention, training, first aid records, quarterly First Aid Attendants meetings and training, ergonomics
program, WorkSafe BC claims and RTW coordination etc.
Lead our health benefits program, including: member enrollments, benefit overview presentation, preparing
information packages and responding to general member inquiries.
Review and track Annual Partnership Discussions (Employee Reviews) to ensure they are completed on time and
follow-up with any additional training or suggestions that are recommended.
Responsible for all areas of recruitment from beginning to end including the onboarding process.
Actively participate in and organize various social and wellness activities such as: anniversary celebrations, birthday
lunches, annual company BBQ’s, holiday events and lunch & learn sessions.

Provide recruitment support including: job postings, applicant tracking, scheduling and conducting interviews and
reference checks.
Coordinate the new hire process by administrating the following: employment contracts, workspace set-up, system
access, payroll documents, orientation, lab coats and personal lockers.
Maintain accurate personnel files while ensuring confidentiality of information.
Create and maintain various reports, including: employment history, promotions, transfers, salaries, safety, turnover
and other personnel data each month.
Support the People & Culture Leader in preparing and delivering communications.
Perform other office administration as required.
Key member of the Making a Difference Committee & Social Committee which includes outside of work sports
and social events.
