Dear Parents, Alumni and Friends of St. Martha Catholic School,

I am pleased to share with you the St. Martha Catholic School 2017-2018 Annual Report. We

have had a tremendously successful year based on the gifts our school families have provided in

regards to their time, talent and treasure. Our school continues to grow due to your selfless

giving.

Our students continue to shine through our rigorous academic offerings and extracurricular

activities - all with an emphasis on Catholic Identity. Our students’ testing performance in

several grade levels this past year ranks within the top 15% in the nation, bringing us a step

closer to the opportunity to apply for consideration of becoming a National Blue Ribbon School.

Our students’ families play a pivotal role in these successes. We thank you for entrusting us with

the important responsibility of educating your child, in partnership with you.

Your generosity has a tangible impact on the educational experience of our students. Highlights

from the 2017-2018 school year include:

● Increase in campus security by hiring a resource officer

● Purchase of a 3D printer

● Purchase and implementation of additional Maker Space learning devices

● Purchase of Chromebooks equipped with Google device management for all middle

school students (1:1 ratio)

● Increase in salary and professional development opportunities for our faculty

ST. MARTHA CATHOLIC SCHOOL 2017-2018 ANNUAL REPORT

The Crusade for Excellence Fund was established in 2013 to help bridge the gap between tuition

income and the actual cost of educating our students. The fund supports operating expenses as well

as other important priorities whenever possible. In the 2017-2018 school year, our fifth annual fund

year, we raised $72,198. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we supported infrastructure

upgrades and operating expenses at the school as well as purchased Chromebooks for all middle

school students. In addition, we are now able to have a full time education coordinator on staff. We

are sincerely grateful to our donors.

St. Martha Catholic School. We are truly grateful and continually humbled by those who give of

themselves to help make our school the best it can be. Our parents put their hearts into

fundraising, coaching, chaperoning, and so much more. Our PTO organization volunteers work

hard to make events such as Family Fun Night, Catholic Schools Week, Teacher Appreciation

Week, Grandparents’ Day and Fun Day a special experience for students. May God continue to

The 2018 Casino Night was held back on campus by popular demand. St. Martha Catholic School

was turned into a lovely venue with live music, dancing, dinner, casino tables, live and silent

auctions all raising over $119,858. The casino committee, staff and volunteers planned an amazing
