Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation
Madhya Pradesh
From the Desk of State President ...
I feel fortunate to place the Annual Report for the
year 2017-18 at the Lotus feet of our most beloved Master Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba on
behalf of the Members of Sri Sathya Sai Seva
Organisation, MP. Currently, the organization is working in 23 Sri Sathya Sai Districts of the State.
During the year, various Organizational
Activities were undertaken by almost all the Sai Districts in the State.
The activities broadly covered the three main
wings of the Sai Organisation viz. Service, Spiritual and Educational. These activities were
carried out with an understanding that the sole purpose of doing these activities was to
recognize the inherent Divinity within oneself.
Spirituality being the core value of the
Organization's activities, this year was declared
as 'Vedam Year'. To train the master trainers in the state, Vedam workshops work organized at
15 places including the inaugural workshop at
Omkareshwar Jyotirling under the direct guidance of Ved master respected Shri Ved
Narayan ji. As guided and directed by all India
president in the Sadhana Shivir for Trust conveners and State Presedents of all the States,
organized at Para Deep Odisa, Dist level Sadhana
Shivir were organized at 21places. With Swami's blessings similar camps will be organized in all
the Samities of the State next Year.
With a view to expand the Balvikas Movements,
many Training Programmes were organized for increasing the number of Balvikas Gurus for
Group 1, 2 & 3. This in turn has increased the
number ofBalvikas Students in the State.
It is a matter of great honour that our State is allotted Sewa at Prashanti Nilayam four times in
a year. For all the Sewas, the required number of Sewadal reached Prashanti Nilayam to offer their
service. In the month of September when the number of Sewadal is usually very high, a large
number of extra activities were taken up which helped a lot for preparation of forth comming important celebrations in Prashanthi Nilyam.
The Mahila Vibhag of the Organisation came out
with various activities with a special emphasis on 'Mother and Child Care'.
The All India President Shri Nimesh Pandiya ji,
along with the National Vice President and the National Team, visited the State from 3rd to 5th
October. During their visit they travelled Sai
Districts of Balaghat, Seoni, Jabalpur, Bhopal. His meeting at Bhopal was attended by Hon'bl
Chief Minister of M.P. Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Keeping in view the nutritional value of Munga Leaves and sticks, this year was also dedicated
for 'Munga Tree Plantation Drive' throughout the State. This was done with a view to distribute the Munga Leaves and sticks, after
processing, to the children in Tribal Areas and help them fight malnutrition.
We express our sincere thanks to the Convener,
Trustees and the Members of the Council of the
Management of Sri Sathya Sai Trust, MP who served hand in hand with the Organisation to
spread the message of Swami by running
Educational Institutes and Blood Banks in the State.
We also express our heartfelt gratitude and
sincere thanks to the All India President Shri
Nimish Pandya ji for his valued guidance and unconditional support.
Finally, with all our humility, we offer our
humble gratitude at the Divine Lotus Feet for giving us an opportunity to serve HIM and
choosing us to be a small part in His Divine Mission. May HE shower HIS blessings on all the
devotees for rendering their service at thy Lotus Feet.
]aiSairam!

Introduction
The foundation of Sri Satya Sai Seva Organization
is "to recognize the inherent divinity within" which is based on the principle laid by Bhagwan
Sri Satya Sai Baba. The aim of all the activities
undertaken by the organization is to uplift 'Sadhana' and to help individuals to move on the
'Path of Spirituality'. Bhagwan's teaching is the
core of all the activities.
The Organisation is disciplined, well planned,
systematic & follows each and every direction
given by the All India President. All major decisions are collectively taken by the Office
Bearers & devotees during the Annual Meeting
and execution is done harmoniously. It encourages participation of all with uniformity
and equality. There is no discrimination on
account of Caste, Religion, Sect or Colour. All work in cohesion and believe that the Divine
Love permeates among all.
It is ensured that each and every member is
assigned a responsibility and has a role to play. Senior members are mostly involved in
sustaining the standards and harmony. They are given due respect and responsibility to move
around the Samithis and Bhajan Mandalis, share their experiences, provide guidance and ensure discipline.
All the State Co-ordinators of different wings
move around the State to give necessary guidance in their respective field of work.
We offer our humble gratitude at the Divine Lotus Feet for giving an opportunity to be a part of His Divine Mission and improve ourselves.
The Sevadal, Bal Vikas Gurus, Bal Vikas children
and the youth are the four pillars of Organisation. They are the energy and spirit ever ready to take up service activity voluntarily. Regular trainings
and conferences are organised enabling them to experience Swami's philosophy and bear the
responsibility with understanding. The Organisation takes up all necessary steps at all
levels to promote and encourage participation with love and care.
For smooth functioning, the Organisation has
introduced 'Induction Process' which helps the new members to easily gel and become a part of
the team and strengthens them to take up responsibilities and discharge their duties with
ease and enthusiasm- thus giving better results.
During the year 2017-18 all the three wings of the Organization-Spiritual, Service and Education were active in consolidation, improvement and expansion of the Organisational work.
Education
BAL VIKAS MOVEMENT:
Value Education is the strength of the
organisation. There are wide spread activities in
the field of Education. Balvikas is very close to
Swamy and he had always emphasised on Value
Education to be given to children along with the
modern Scientific Education. Swami always said
"My students are My property". They will carry
the 'Torch ofValues' for the Nation. A value based
human resource is the need of the day for any
Nation. Children being the leaders of tomorrow,
have to be instilled with the right values.
Bal Vikas movement was started in the year 1969
by Swami and today it has become a global
movement. The ladies devotees of the
Organization have taken up the Balvikas
movement in the State. The Mahila devotees are
encouraged and given training to become a Guru.
The Bal Vikas classes are conducted in 3 groups
from the age of 5 to 15years. Each Guru mentors
the childlren living in their vicinity.
In our State the Bal Vikas is expanding and there has been an increase in the number ofBal Vikas classes this year. As a result of continuous, unified and systematic efforts the number of Bal vikas activities have increased significantly.

students during their vacations. The program
helps students to interact with each other, learn
through entertaining activities and games in an
informal yet disciplinary manner. This year
many students attended and learned life skills in
the Anand mela.
Gurukul - "Sai Gurukulam" is a program started to keep the students active and involved in the organization. Children are camped in a District place with their Gurus where they do all activities that strengthen their mental, physical and spiritual ability. They are also taught about their roles and duties in the society.
Bal Vikas Picnics - were organized in different
Districts. Children were taken for an outing
which gave them an opportunity to learn
through experience. Various activities viz.
games, quizzes, sports etc. were planned to
motivate and build their self-confidence.
Balvikas Summer Camps were conducted for 5 or
7 days. Many activities were organized to
strengthen the mental ability and increase the
creativity. Values based games were played and
value based stories are narrated.
Non- Balvikas Summer Camps were organized in different areas so that the Non Balvikas children also come to know about the value based education. This also had contributed in the increase in the number of students in the regular Balvikas.
School Summer Camps were held in order to introduce the concept of Bal Vikas to the School Management which had positively resulted in a successful start of Bal Vikas classes in the respective schools that were contacted.
Eshwaramma Week was celebrated where Bal Vikas students were given the opportunity of taking part in various competitions, games and cultural programs.
"Parenting" program - Many parenting programs were organized in the various parts of the State where parents came to know as to how the Bal Vikas Programme changes the attitude and behavior of the students. This had given a good result and the parents took special interest to send their children to the regular Bal Vikas classes.
