During the preview guests are treated to:

1. Gourmet refreshments and appetizers.

2. The Sharon Rai bridal library and start to visualize your perfect look.

3. A full hair and facial analysis to determine your best tones, colors and products to create that simply radiant look.

4. We will create the look as it will be on your wedding day, including hair, makeup, accessories and your dress. This ensures no surprises, just a bride relaxed and prepared for the most important day of her life.

5. Topping the day off is a photo session in our private studio with you, then with your guests. This will be a lovely token to cherish for years to come, as all photos from the session will be made available through your special bridal login area on the Sharon Rai web site, www.sharonrai.com.

Beauty EssentialsOn the date of your choice, let Sharon Rai Hair & Makeup Artistry take care of all your pre-wedding beauty details, and make it a day you and your party will remember forever. 1. Your party will be picked up in a town car and driven to the Santé Spa at the world-class Bear Mountain Resort. 2. Before you know it, you and your party will be sitting pool-side, sipping champagne, eating chocolate-covered strawberries and awaiting a full day of pampering.

3. A personal hostess will attend to your party’s every need, including offering the exclusive SR lunch menu, created by Bear Mountain’s head chef and available to your guests only.

4. As a special gift, the bride receives the Santé Spa Exclusive Spa Ritual Line basket including a detoxifying scrub, an organic candle, foot soak, body wash and lotion. Products are made up of organic extracts of lemon grass, avocado oil, ginger, peppermint and cloves and green tea.

Coastal ManicureA rich sea salt blended with a glacial purifying cleanser begins this deluxe treatment. A green tea exfoliation to hands and lower arms is followed by a massage to relax tired, dehydrated hands. Your choice of a paraffin application or warmed toning mineral mask takes you to the next level. Polish of choice or buffing of the nails to a natural shine finishes the treatment.

Brooke MakeupSkin was cleansed and brightened creating the perfect pallet for sheer coverage foundation and concealer com-bination. Blue eyes are brought to life using dark choco-late shadows into the crease. Seared browns and rose tones were swept below the waterline. Inner corners of the eye were lightened with soft shimmer powders. Feath-ered, corner lashes were added for a sumptuous lash. Rose tempered blush was dusted over the cheekbone and blended throughout her cheek. Flushed coral lipstick is painted over the lips. Pearl pigmented lip-gloss was custom blended, creating an irresistibly kissable lip.

Brooke HairNaturally, hair is shoulder length with course texture. Hair was curled with the curling iron twirling away from the face, then brushed out, teased at the crown to add high-volume, swept to a side part and brought back to create a poof at the top. Hair extensions were weaved in and hair pieces were added to create the full look. Finishing the look off with a loose braid and a beautiful swarovski clip.Sig

Ashley MakeupNaturally fair skin was prepped with a moisturizing gel and nourishing eye cream. SPF foundation was applied to pre-serve the pallid skin. Eyebrows were tweezed and filled with a deep brow shadow creating a frame for her sultry blue eyes. Violet and smoky gray cream shadows were blended over the full length of the crease. Ivory pencil eye-liner was draw inside of the water line Sable mascara and false eyelashes complete this look. Checks are brightened using refined golden powder and silky coral blush across the apple of her cheek Lips are lined with skin-toned liner. Her cheeky tangerine lips flatter her fair skin.

Ashley HairHair is naturally long, and wavy, with little volume. Hair was set in hot rollers to add body, the crown was teased to add volume to hair. Hair was pulled back in to a low pony at the nape of the neck to create a low bun, a section was braided in design. Hair pieces and extensions were added to create volume and fullness.

Jocelyn MakeupSkin was cleansed and mattified, to prevent makeup shift-ing over oily skin. Iridescent skin conditioner, foundation and concealer were fused creating her luminous complex-ion. The full brow is manicured with powder brow fill and a fluid brow set. Black liquid covers her upper lash line. Gold highlights open the eye as smoky black and umbers fill the crease as rust colored shadows cover the lid. Lower lid is lined to bring focus to her deep brown eyes. Jet-black mascara blanket her long lashes to create this smoldering eye. Round cheeks are daubed with bricolage of bronze multi-purpose color stick and ruby powder blush. Lips are lined and filled with purple-toned lipstick then covered in blushing, pink and champagne lip-gloss elements.

Jocelyn HairNaturally hair is straight, mid-back length and very fine.Hair pieces were added at the top section to create the full top look. Front hair was then swept back, along with the top section of the hair to create a soft textured look. Hair was teased at the root to add volume, then curled with hot rollers and a medium sized curler. A silk flower was added for the finishing touch.Sig

Jasmine MakeupHydrating moisturizer was used to nourish dry skin. A flawless combination of foundation and concealer was whipped into a lightweight second skin. Scanty brows are filled in with brow wax and powder to provide a full and natural eyebrow. Deep coppers and opulent brown tones are washed over the lids. Creating depth enhancing the contours of her alluring eye. False eyelashes were applied to add a more full and sultry lash-line. Cream blush and powder bronzer was softly fanned over her high cheek-bones. Lips were fully lined with a nude lip pencil topped with a hydrating, glossy lip balm.

Jasmine HairHair is naturally shoulder length, thick, and straight with no body. Extensions were added to create a voluminous, long look. Hair was set into hot rollers, adding body, the roots were teased to add height, creating a lift at the crown. Soft loose waves were added with an iron.

Sharon and her team did a fabulous job getting me and my bridesmaids ready for our special day. Our skin looked flawless and she found a beautiful palette that worked well on all of the girls skin tones and a little extra va-va-va-voom for myself and came together beautifully. The hair was perfect for our outdoor wedding and held up throughout the evening despite all of the hugs and dance moves. I was thoroughly pleased with the photos once I saw myself and all of my girls, we look like celebrities and it was exactly what I wanted, natural and pretty but fabulous!

Although I had never had my makeup done and truly loved the end result, I was still on the fence as to whether I wanted to do my own makeup for my wedding day.
