Discover the wonder of rockpool marine life with the Trust’s marine rangers. Parents must attend with their children.

SeabirdsandPaellaatBerryHeadSaturday 8 August 4.30pm -8.30pm £19.00 per person (includes dinner and a drink). Learn more about migrating seabirds and watch in the evening light the flocks of seabirds which can include a variety of gulls, skuas, shearwaters and terns. This is also the best place in Britain to see the rare Balearic Shearwater, although a sighting cannot be guaranteed. Then enjoy a delicious Paella in the Guardhouse Café.

If you love food & the countryside, you’ll love OCCOMBEFARM!Occombe is a working organic farm with a 2km Nature Trail and lots of farm animals to see like sheep, cows, pigs, alpacas, chickens, ducks and goats.

You can also visit a Wartime demonstration allotment and Kitchen Garden with Bee Hives, and the honey and eggs from the farm are for sale in the Visitor Centre. After a

stroll around the farm you can sample delicious Devon food and drink in the Occombe Farm Café. There are a range of family fun activities happening at the farm throughout the year for all ages. From July until October our popular play barn will be open daily with play tractors, imagination playground, den building and more! We also run regular meet the farm animal sessions and pony ride sessions – please look on our website www.occombe.org.uk for more information on things to do at the farm and our events.

WallsHillWalk the slopes of rare wildflowers on the limestone coastal cliffs and look out for butterflies such as the meadow brown, holly blue and gatekeeper.

AnsteysCoveTake part in an invigorating coasteering adventure with one of our recommended companies and see fantastic tropical coral fossils in the limestone rock.

Hope’sNoseEnjoy stunning views across the Bay and look out for seabirds such as guillemots and razorbills.

SalternCoveExplore the rockpools at the first Local underwater Nature Reserve and see 400 million year old tropical coral fossils on the beach. If feeling brave take a mask and snorkel and see this underwater world come to life.

FishcombeCoveandTheGroveWalk through this ancient woodland and spot grey seals from the coast and if the water is clear look out for under- water meadows of seagrass.

OccombeFarmSee farmland wildflower meadows with orchids and look out for the orange tip butterfly and view birds close up from the bird hide.

CockingtonCountryParkTake in this historic parkland with majestic trees and orchards. Visit the old cider press and craft studios.

BerryHeadNationalNatureReserveBe blown away by this stunning nature reserve and see carpets of wildflowers, seabirds and if you are lucky a harbour porpoise. At night take part in a Trust Bat Walk and see the rare Greater Horseshoe Bat.
