CampsWhere Fun Meets the Arts!

Camp programs are designed to provide fun,

encouraging, creative and safe experiences

for children ages 6 to 16. Programs are taught

by qualified artist-educators in our

professional studios.

Schedule and Extended CareCamps run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with supervised breaks and lunch.

Morning Extended Care (8:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.) is available free of

charge. Limited spaces available for Evening Extended Care (4:00 p.m.

to 5:30 p.m.); One Week - $35; Short Weeks - $31.50

There will be a late pick-up fee of $20.00 after 4:00 p.m. for campers

not registered in Extended Care and after 5:30 p.m. for those

registered in Extended Care.

Lunch and SnacksRefrigeration for lunches, snacks and drinks is not available. Please

ensure that all lunches and snacks are NUT FREE. Adult supervision

is provided for all campers over the lunch hour and breaks.

NEW!Meal Plan We are pleased to offer parents and campers our meal plan option for

March Break and Summer Camp sessions! This 5 day set menu includes

a sandwich, fruit, treat, juice and pizza on Friday! Please see our website

for full details. Note: You will need to provide your child with morning

and afternoon snacks.

Meal Plan - $37; Short Weeks - $29; We cannot accommodate

allergies of any kind or any special dietary restrictions.

Get ready to move and groove in this new dance program! Campers will be lead through the basics of dance focusing on contemporary styles including hip hop and jazz. This program is an exciting opportunity to explore the fundamentals of creating with clay. Always wanted to get behind the camera? Join this exciting and extremelypopular program from the Centre’s school of film! Budding directors, screen-writers, and cinematographers will learn the fundamentals of filmmaking, including script development, storyboards, lighting and sound while creating a short film. Returning participants will continue to develop and refine their skills while working on new projects. Film premieres for familyand friends will be held in our film theatre on the last day of the program.Each filmmaker will receive a copy of the final project.

PAID PARKING

The Centre offers heated underground parking free on evenings after 6 p.m. and on

weekends. Rates for all other times are available at www.mississauga.ca/parking

RETURNED (NSF) CHEQUES

A $25.00 administration fee will be charged for cheques that are returned to us by

your bank.

FAMILY DISCOUNT

Families who enrol more than one child (residing at the same household) will receive a

10% discount on each additional child. This discount is applicable to all children and

youth courses and camp programs.

INSTALLMENT PAYMENT PLAN

To be eligible for the Studio Arts course INSTALLMENT payment plan, patrons must

register for a course or a series of courses that total $200 or more. Payments will be

divided into three equal parts. The fi rst portion is due upon registration. The second

payment is due two weeks after the fi rst, and the fi nal payment is due two weeks after

the second. Patrons may pay with post-dated cheques or a credit card.

COMMUNITY COURSE WITHDRAWALS

Withdrawals from Community Courses must be made at least TWO WEEKS prior to the

class start date for a full refund, minus an administration fee of $25. Withdrawals less

than two weeks prior to the class start date or after the fi rst class will receive 50%

of the course fee minus a $25 administrative fee. NO refunds will be processed after

the 2nd class. Community Courses aim to provide a safe, positive, and welcoming

learning environment. The Living Arts Centre reserves the right to refuse admittance

to or de-register any person who prevents our ability to provide such an environment.

In the event of de-registration, a refund will be issued for all unattended classes.

CAMPS WITHDRAWALSIf you wish to cancel your registration, requests must be received in writing at least

TWO WEEKS prior to the fi rst day of camp. An administration fee of $25 will be

charged for each cancellation. After this period, any cancellation requests must be

accompanied by a medical certifi cate in order to receive a refund. You will be refunded

for unattended days, less a $25 administration fee. The Living Arts Centre reserves

the right to de-register a camper if he or she is deemed to be incompatible with the

program. A refund will be issued for all unattended program days.

PROGRAM CANCELLATIONAll courses are subject to suffi cient registration. The Living Arts Centre reserves the

right to cancel or combine individual courses if minimum registration is not achieved.

A full refund will be issued in the event of a cancellation.

COURSE TRANSFERSIf space is available, patrons may transfer from one course to another that is of equal

or more value, as long as the transfer is done 2 weeks before the class begins. A $25

administration fee will be charged.

AGE REQUIREMENTSChildren must meet the age requirements of the course/camp listed. An exception

will be made for children turning of age during the 8-week session of a Community

Course/Camp.

MISSED CLASSIn the event that a patron is unable to attend a class, the Living Arts Centre regrets that

a makeup class or refund will not be offered.

WAIT LISTIn the event that the course/camp you have selected is full, you can be placed on a

wait list. Individuals on the wait list will only be notifi ed if space becomes available

in the class.

SUPPLIESPatrons who have registered for courses that require additional supplies to be

purchased may fi nd a supply list online or through the box offi ce.

CLOTHING/SHOESParticipants who have registered for Hot Glass must wear 100% cotton, closed-toe

shoes and sunglasses at all times. All other participants are encouraged to wear

closed-toe shoes.

SPECIAL NEEDSAll details of special needs must be disclosed at the time of registration. Please

note that we cannot provide a support worker. Support workers are admitted to

Community Courses and Camps free of charge but must have a Police Clearance Check

(for children’s classes only). The Living Arts Centre is working in partnership with

Community Living Mississauga through their Children’s Summer Support Program

(CSSP) to offer a limited number of spaces to children with intellectual disabilities

in our Summer Camps. Please note that these spaces will be fi lled only with

successful applicants to the CSSP. Confi rmation of CSSP acceptance and support must be

presented prior to registration at the Living Arts Centre.
