For family sponsorship visa to Canada any Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada can sponsor for spouse, common-law partner, conjugal partner, dependent child (including adopted child) or eligible relative (such as parent or grandparent) to become a permanent resident. Super Visa Super Visa is provided to parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens, eligible Permanent Residents can also apply for parent and grandparent super visa. It is valid for up to 10 years and it allows you to visit your family in Canada for two years without renewing your status.
