Spicy Banana Chips RecipeBanana Chips are one of the favorite South Indian snacks. It is very popular in Kerala and people yearn to eat Banana Chips from god’s own country. It is the best food when you are fasting on any auspicious day. When you are curled up in bed to watch your favorite movie or cricket match, this is the perfect snack to crunch.

Essential Ingredients
Ripe Bananas : 4Lemon Juice : 2 tablespoons (Fresh)Salt : 1-2 teaspoonsChilli Powder : 2 teaspoons (Red)Soybean Oil or Peanut Oil : 3 – 4 tablespoons (for deep frying, peanut oil is preferred)Spices : Cinnamon, Ginger (As much as you like)

Preparation
1. To start with, peel the skin of the bananas first and keep it ready.2. Make thin slices from the bananas. Much thinner the slices are, crispier the chips will
be.3. Allow the slices to dehydrate for 3 – 4 minutes.4. Sprinkle the lemon juice on the thin slices.5. Now, take a frying pan and pour soybean/peanut oil and heat it with medium flame
for 5 minutes.6. Deep fry the slices until they turn yellowish brown in color.7. Use a strainer and soak out the excess oil in the chips.8. Mix the salt, spices and chilli powder and drizzle this mixture on the chips.
Now the banana chips are ready. Sit on your couch and snack it comfortably.
