SET

INDUCTION

1. Teacher shows a bottle of water and some

books.

2. Teacher asks pupils to try and count all of

the things.

STAGE 1 1. Teacher explains about countable and

uncountable nouns based on the things

counted.

2. Pictures are pasted on the whiteboard and

pupils need to identify which can be

counted.

3. Teacher select 2-3 pupils to identify and say

which picture is uncountable noun.

STAGE 2 1. Teacher randomly selects a few pupils to

come in front to play the game of guessing.

2. The pupils in front must guess the pictures

behind them while others give the clues.

3. He/She must identify the object and

categorised it.

STAGE 3 1. Teacher distributes the worksheet.

2. Teacher gives instructions and example.

Pupils need to complete the worksheet in

time.

CLOSURE 1. Teacher recalls what have been learned.
