SPEAKER BIO

Stephen V. Bowles, PhD, ABPP

COL (Ret) Stephen V. Bowles, Ph.D., ABPP, is currently serving as a Visiting Research Fellow in the Institute for National Security Studies at the National Defense University in Washington, D.C. and as an Adjunct Faculty at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. He is the President for the Society for Military Psychology and the American Psychology Association Council of Representatives for the District of Columbia Psychology. He served 27 years in the U. S. Army, is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and is a graduate and Fellow of The Eisenhower School at the National Defense University. He

is a Distinguished Practitioner and Fellow of the National Academy of Practice in Psychology, a Fellow in the American Psychological Association (DIV 19) and Board Certified in Clinical Health Psychology.
