ladies escorted golf tour of The Iberian Peninsula will let you discover rugged coastal beauty, hillside

vineyards, historic towns and villages and a cornucopia of amazing golf courses. Staying in 5 star hotels

and resorts for the duration of the tour we will be touring in style.

The concentration of the best golf courses on The Iberian Peninsula, very much follows its southerly

coastline, which is the route that we will be taking. Starting from Portugal’s enchanting capital city of

Lisbon, following the Atlantic shore south to The Algarve, then crossing into Spain and continuing to The

Mediterranean Sea and the Costa del Sol.

We will fully explore the vibrant city of Lisbon, one of the oldest cities in the world, which perfectly

reflects the Portuguese way of life, embracing modern culture whilst maintaining its unique heritage and

traditions. On the Algarve Coast, we will savour the smells and the tastes of the place: the sweet

miasma of the orange groves, the heady scent of the wine cellars, the smoky aroma of chicken roasting

on coals, and the sharp tang of the fish markets down by the sea. On the sun-drenched Costa del Sol,

we’ll relax by the blue Mediterranean waters, stroll along the promenade while savouring the

specialities in the local restaurants.

Arrival in Lisbon. To take advantage of the group airport transfers, ensure you arrive into LIS Airport

prior to 1pm.

This new five-star hotel in Lisbon is 60 metres

from Avenida da Liberdade, the most

luxurious avenue in Portugal. The hotel is a

pleasant tree lined walk (along typically

Portuguese white limestone cobbled

pavements) from some of the main tourist

attractions in the city of Lisbon: Rossio, Praça

do Comércio, Chiado and Bairro Alto. This

Wednesday 13th June 2018

Golf at Penha Longa Golf Club with shared motorised carts

For our first round of golf, we will play one

of many fantastic courses in Portugal

designed by Robert Trent Jones Jnr. Penha

Longa is a glorious 18 holes, sculptured

amongst the verdant mountains of Sintra.

The rolling hills offering an alluring

landscape. The short Par 5 6th Hole is

decorated by an ancient Aqueduct at the

back of the green and guarded at the front

of the green by a lake. The finishing holes

are excellent, notably the stunning 16th

from the elevated tee the view is

spectacular as the hole is all before you.

Thursday 14th June 2018

Walking Tour of Lisbon

This Lisbon Old Town Walking Tour will

take you through the origins of Lisbon,

behind the city walls and inside the Alfama

district. The Phoenicians, the Romans and

the Arabs, all settled here at one time or

another, leaving their distinct mark. The

inhabitants of the old district of Alfama,

sitting on the hill facing the river, maintain

a unique lifestyle, with a strong sense of

community, influenced by an urban

density and the narrowness of the streets,

making this neighbourhood a small village

inside the big city. The perfect place to

explore on foot.

Friday 15th June 2018

This morning we will check out of our hotel and transfer to the beautiful Algarve, stopping on the way to

play golf. We will reach the club via a lovely short ferry crossing from Setubal to the Peninsula of Troia.

This course is set on gently undulating

sandy land bordering the sea on the Troia

Peninsula, south of Lisbon.

The 368m par 4 3rd hole is one of the

finest sea holes in Portugal, and there are

numerous other outstanding holes on this

lovely course. This is a course where the

elements play a huge part. The fairways

are narrow and if you miss them they are

lined with sand and shrubs. The small

greens are well protected by deep

bunkers and demand well struck approach

shots. This naturally rugged 18 holes is

truly a course for the connoisseurs.

After golf we will transfer to Vilamoura on the Algarve (approx. 2hrs) and check in to our luxurious 5 star

resort.

Golf at Quinta Do Lago South with shared motorised carts

This is one of Europe’s finest courses

and it is easy to see why it is immensely

popular. Situated on fabulous rolling

terrain ideal for golf, the course has

been carefully blended into the

beautiful natural surroundings. Within

the superb tree lined layout of the

course are numerous hazards, some

very subtly woven into the course.

Water has been used sparingly, but

intelligently, especially on the 3rd Hole.

One of the joys of the South course’s

design is its playability for all standards

of golfer. A must play course.

Sunday 17th June 2018

Private Boat Cruise of the Algarve Coast with Lunch

Today we will relax in the

Mediterranean Sun while sailing

aboard our own private yacht.

Sailing along the Algarve coastline,

with its beautiful rock formations,

caves and beaches, we will visit

some of the most remote and

secluded parts of the sunny

Algarve. We will anchor on a

secluded beach for a BBQ lunch and

to explore the most beautiful caves

and rock formations of the region.

There will be time for swimming,

and relaxing in the sun as we

admire the varied landscape of the

southern coast of Portugal.

This morning we will check out of our hotel and transfer to the beautiful Costa del Sol in Spain, stopping

on the way to explore Seville (approx. 5hr)

The luxury Marbella hotel is in the heart of

the Costa del Sol, and situated right on the

beach so you can easily move between the

luxurious pool area and the beach bar and

restaurant. When the need to shop and

sightsee hits, take a short five minute walk

into town where you’ll will find plenty of

shops and other attractions. If you wish to

take a break from the bustling town of

Marbella, the hotel is surrounded by 4,000

square metres of lush gardens and is also in

close proximity to some of the best golf

courses in the region.

Golf at Santana Golf Club with shared motorised carts

One of the newest courses on The Costa del

Sol again built on an old Avocado plantation.

Just enough of the trees have been removed

to shape the holes superbly whilst still

retaining the feel that the golf course has

been here for years. Deceptively generous

fairways and excellent putting surfaces are

guarded by cleverly positioned bunkers. This

beautiful enclave is home to many eucalyptus,

orange and lemon trees, cactus, pines, fig

trees, olive and mango trees together with a

varied population of indigenous birds,

including the calzada eagle. The cork oaks

along the 5th hole deserve special mention, as

they have been present here for more than

500 years.

This Cabell Robinson designed

course is simply spectacular and

captures the natural essence of the

surrounding area. Finca Cortesin is

ranked in the top 5 golf courses in

Spain by the Golf World Magazine,

and US Masters champion Sergio

Garcia compared the greens with

those at Augusta National for their

quality and speed when he played

here. The service, clubhouse and

grounds are the epitome of style and

luxury, so it is the perfect fit for the

last course of the tour.

Day at Leisure

OPTIONAL Málaga Day Tour

Málaga is a world apart from the

adjoining Costa del Sol: a historic and

culturally rich provincial capital that

has rapidly emerged as the province's

city of culture with its so-called 'mile

of art' being compared to Madrid,

and its dynamism and fine dining to

Barcelona. The tastefully restored

historic centre is a delight: its Gothic

cathedral is surrounded by narrow

pedestrian streets flanked by

traditional and modern bars, and

shops that range from idiosyncratic

and family owned, to urban-chic and

contemporary.

These Terms & Conditions apply to the person making the booking and all other persons on whose

behalf the booking is made. Clients booking by telephone, facsimile, web or e-mail will be deemed to

have read and accepted the Terms & Conditions set out below. Therefore, please read them carefully.

As Golf & Tours Pty Ltd is only acting as an agent we have no liability in respect to the supply of any

element of your booking, including any liability for illness, personal injury, death or loss of any kind,

delay and inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any provider of travel services or products or by

other third parties unless caused by our negligence.

Flights

This tour requires a minimum of 11 golfers to proceed. Please do not book your flights until you have

been advised by Golf & Tours that this tour will be proceeding. If minimum numbers are not achieved,

you will be offered a full refund or opportunity to transfer your deposit to another tour.

Travel Insurance

Golf & Tours Pty Ltd strongly recommends that you take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time

of paying a deposit. The policy should provide cover for loss of deposit, cancellation and additional

expenses, medical expenses and repatriation and loss or damage to baggage and valuables. You are

responsible for making any special or increased insurance arrangements which you deem are necessary.

The payments made to G&T for your tour are non-refundable. Travel insurance will cover you for

unseen circumstances that may force you to withdraw from the tour.

Passport & Visas

It is your sole responsibility to ensure you have a valid passport at the time of travelling and that you

hold all necessary visas and permits. All Australians must hold a valid passport for international travel.

Some countries require you when entering to hold passport with at least six months validity.

Pricing

Every effort is made to ensure that the prices quoted to you are correct; however, Golf & Tours Pty Ltd

acts only as an agent and relies on information provided to us from our suppliers of the travel services

and products listed in this itinerary. We will bring to your attention any change in price prior to you

paying the balance of the tour. N.B some golf clubs, hotels, transfer companies and travel service

providers reserve the right to increase their pricing due to increases in green fees, hotel accommodation

charges and currency fluctuations etc. Where the increase in price is greater than 10% of the original

price of the tour, you may choose to either:

(a) cancel the applicable booking without incurring any penalty; or

(b) accept the change of price

You must notify Golf & Tours of your choice, in writing within 14 days of receipt of notice of the increase

or you will be deemed to have accepted the price change and will be liable for payment of the increase.

Payments

Golf & Tours accepts the following payment methods: Direct bank deposits, cheque and credit card

(Visa, American Express or MasterCard).

A deposit of AU$1,000 per person is required to secure your place on this tour. Please indicate on the

booking form how you wish to make this payment.

The balance will be due 90 days prior to departure ie. on 20th March 2018. On 19th March at 10am, this

tour will be converted from EUR to AUD using the best rate from the 4 major banks. Golf & Tours will

contact you on 19th March 2018, advising of the full amount owing for the tour in Australian dollars,

minus the deposit already paid, giving you the final balance owing. If you wish to make this final balance

payment earlier than this date, please contact Golf & Tours Pty Ltd.

Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations by the client must be in writing and are subject to the following forfeit of cost per person:

• Cancellation before final balance payment is required: Deposit lost or option to transfer full

deposit to a subsequent tour

• Cancellation after final balance payment has been completed: 100% of the tour cost charged

If the company is forced to cancel a tour, a full refund or option to transfer full deposit to a subsequent

tour will be offered to the client.
