Spain has been an important source of influence to other regions and there are over 500 million Spanish speakers today. So, Spanish is the world's second most spoken first language.

Famous dishes A well-known Spanish dish is “Paella”

made of rice and rabbit, or chicken. Another delicious dish is the Spanish

Traditions

Spanish people celebrate Christmas or Easter performing in the streets, incarnating Mary, Joseph and the three Magi at Christmas and Jesus on the crucifixion cross at Easter.

“Piñata” is a well known traditional game.

It is decorated with symbols and colors for good climate. People used to fill it with five types of seeds and then hit with sticks. They break the piñata and they burn the remains and they keep the ashes for good luck.

Today Piñata is filled with candies and sweets.
