Genesis 1:12 (NKJV) 12 And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the
tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
Job 4:8 (NKJV) 8 Even as I have seen,
Those who plow iniquity And sow
trouble reap the same.
Proverbs 1:31 (NKJV) 31 Therefore they shall
eat the fruit of their own way, And be filled to the
full with their own fancies.

iniquity will reap sorrow, And the rod of his anger will fail.

Jesus & early disciples were far from materially wealthy -‐ Luke 9:58; 2 Cor 4:17
Following Jesus requires sacrifice -‐ Luke 6:35; 9:23-‐25; Phili 4:11-‐14; etc.
