We are constantly seeking new ways to reduce our procurement
costs and improve performance of our supply chain while promoting
quality. In our continual efforts to reduce costs to our valued-
customers, Southwire sources many of our raw materials directly
from the manufacturer to take advantage of our purchasing volumes,
the type of raw material, and/or customer-directed specifications.
The responsibility for negotiating and contracting for goods and
services resides with our Strategic Sourcing Department. Southwire
encourages diverse suppliers to complete our supplier registration
process to be pre-qualified for future procurement opportunities.

POLICY STATEMENT ON SUPPLIER DIVERSITY
It is the policy of Southwire to procure goods and services from the best-qualified suppliers and contractors.
We recognize the importance that all businesses have

Through our Supplier Diversity Program, we support
the development, utilization, and growth of diverse
businesses that are small, HUB zone, woman-, minority-,
and veterans- owned and operated.
To the maximum extent possible, Southwire will
provide these diverse businesses with opportunities
to participate as suppliers of goods and services to
Southwire. We will accomplish this by establishing
annual performance goals, maintaining outreach,
increasing competitive business opportunities, and
requiring Supplier Diversity Performance Plans from
our key majority suppliers. Every employee, who is
