Blue Lake in Mount Gambier is in a crater in a volcano and has bright

blue water.

The water colour changes all the time.

The State Badge is a Piping Shrike, which is a type of Magpie. It is South Australia’s bird emblem.

As well as the Piping Shrike, the Hairy Nosed Wombat is South Australia’s faunal (animal)

emblem.

The floral emblem of South Australia is the Sturt’s Desert Pea.
