December 1, 2012 - December 7, 2012, The Afro-American B1 Under the theme “Our Omega Commitment: A Look at the Past With an Eye on the Future,” Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.’s Psi Nu Chapter hosted it’s 40th International Achievement Week Observance Nov. 3 at the Fort Myer, Va. Officers’ Club. Victor Taylor, the outgoing basileus of the Northern Virginia chapter, was awarded the Omega Man of the Year by Reginald Parker, the incoming basileus. James Evans was posthumously awarded a 60-year pin and certificate. The chapter presented the Citizen of the Year award to the Northern Virginia alumni chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and a special award of appreciation was presented to to Mrs. Rosamond Skinner. The Greater Baltimore Leadership Association held its 10th annual Masquerade Ball, Nov. 10 at the Tremont Grand Historic Venue in Baltimore. The group gathered marked its accomplishments and service to the community. It was established in 2002 as

an auxiliary of the Greater Baltimore Urban League and is expressly for

young people, 21-40, who want to make a difference in this
