Solihull Institute of Medical Training and Research—the Conference Centre SIMTR is managed by a Board of Trustees and opened in February 1995 for the benefit of the local community. Its objective are as follows:
• Profits generated are used to improve the quality of life for those less fortunate
• To support beneficial medical projects within the local community
• To promote and encourage medical research and training
• To provide conference and meeting facilities in support of good causes
