Have you ever wondered where does all the waste water goes from our toilets and sinks ???
Each time we flush up our toilets or wash something, water containing faeces paper , cloth , soap , food scraps etc. goes down the drain . This water gets accumilated and forms sewage . In large cities it is known as Municipal Water

Do you know why manhole covers are round???
This is to avoid accidents. Since man holes covers are round they do not fall down when somebody stands on them. If they were square or rectangular , they could have fallen down.
What is BOD ???
BOD stands for Biochemical Oxygen Demand. BOD is the amount of oxygen required by a microrganisms to decompose.
