The Soldiers’ MemorialThe Soldiers’ Memorial is located on the corner of our school.

It is a white obelisk, and it is there so we can remember old scholars who went to the school, fought in the war and died.

The obelisk represents the soldiers that fought for us in World War 1.

Back in those days, it was against the rules to build it because the government wanted more people to fight for our country, instead of thinking about death and what could happen to the soldiers.

The obelisk was started to be built in 1916 by the students in the school. No one really knows when it was finished, but we know is was definitely finished before 1918 because there is a photo of the memorial before the Honour Roll was launched.

In our school library there is a big Honour Board that shows all the old scholars who put their hand up to fight in war.
