About the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC)
SETAC is a not-for-profit, global professional organization comprised of some 6,000 individual members and institutions from academia, business and government. Since 1979, the Society has provided a forum where scientists, managers and other professionals exchange information and ideas on the study, analysis and solution of environmental problems, the management and regulation of natural resources, research and development, and environmental education.

Mission
The mission of the CAG is to recruit and retain chemists to SETAC, and to promote professional and social activities to emphasize chemistry--the "C" in SETAC.
Membership
Membership in the Chemistry Advisory Group is open to all SETAC members, and to all professionals and students interested in the topics addressed by the CAG. Members must have a commitment to the purpose, goals, and operating guidelines of the Chemistry Advisory Group.
About SETAC’s Chemistry Advisory Group
The Chemistry Advisory Group (CAG) strives to improve and sustain
the inherent interdisciplinary nature of the SETAC organization in members and expertise. We increase awareness of and relevance for environmental chemistry through opportunities in scientific education and communication for chemists in the environmental field.

● Student Exchange Award with ACS ENVR Division- Exchange of student presenters to each other’s national meetings
● Chemist Travel Award- Non-SETAC member awardee and mentees receive hotel and registration for SETAC North America (NA) Annual Meeting
● CAG sponsored sessions at SETAC NA Annual Meeting○ Effect-Directed Environmental Analysis, Innovative Environment, Safer Consumer Products
