The Plan “With every purchase, TOMS will help a

person in need.” In 2006 TOMS was started to help bring

adequate shoes to children in need. By 2011 TOMS One for One plan was

expanded to TOMS Eyewear, to help restore sight to a person in need.

Continuing The Effort In 2014, TOMS is now proud to introduce

TOMS Roasting Co. that will provide a week of clean water to a person in need with every bag of coffee purchased.

TOMS simple idea has turned into a power business model for CSR and to address the need to help children in communities around the world.

The Numbers By December of their first year TOMS

had given 10,000 pairs of shoes. By September of 2010 1 Million pairs of

shoes had been given, and by June 2012 they had given 2 Million shoes away.

Now in 2014, over 35 Million shoes have been given and over 250,000 children have had their sight restored.

Their Partners TOMS gives to over 60 countries

through humanitarian organizations who incorporate shoes into their community development programs.

The also give sight to 10 countries and are looking to expand while incorporating TOMS roasting Co.

More CSR CSR is engraved into their company

culture integrating sustainable and responsible practices in everything they do.

Environmentally friendly materials as well creating their own supply shops run with fair wages and working conditions in places where jobs need to be created.

Still More Gives back to their local communities. Only company with a Chief Giving

Officer. Provide CSR education to all of their

employees as well as a number of benefits like healthcare, dental care, life insurance, paid leave and more.

Have 3rd parties review their practices to have more perspective.
