Why SOBO?  We’re on a quest to free the world from the

horror of the cheap t-shirt or unoriginal product mindlessly slapped with a logo.

After more than 15 years of driving consumer product growth for large companies, we know how to build your brand through developing

products that stay true to your unique personality but also appeal to your target

audience.

The promotional products industry is filled with order-takers, SOBO adds value by knowing how

to design, manufacture, embellish, price and deliver goods to maximize ROI.

•  We're super creative and will even sacrifice margin to deliver products that make your customers go WOW. We handle both product and graphic design in-house & don't charge extra - which adds tremendous value and saves money.

•  For larger volumes we source overseas, which allows us to add additional creative elements without incremental cost.

•  We're tech geeks - Imagine being able to add augmented reality to your SWAG or give it a way through a social media vending machine. Huh… check out our blog for case studies and more information.

•  We're fashion designers - Can't find an off-the-shelf shirt or uniform… No problem, we'll design, cut and sew your own custom look.

•  We're retail packaging & display experts - From packaging to the complete design & build-out of a full-blown retail concept. Our experienced team can provide that unique look that drives sales.

•  There's nothing we can't make, from t-shirts to tents to tech - the bigger the challenge the better.

This  year’s  Copa  America  was  a  classic,  as  all  who  tuned  in  could  vouch  for.  (Congratula=ons  to  Chile,  this  year’s  winners!)  Your  friends  at  SOBO  Concepts  have  had  a  great  rela=onship  with  Octagon  Marke=ng,  MasterCard’s  event  marke=ng  agency,  for  several  years  (we  really  love  these  guys).  So  when  MasterCard  made  a  last  minute  decision  to  sponsor  the  Copa  America’s  “Man  of  the  March”  awards  that  are  given  to  each  game’s  outstanding  player,  we  were  called  in  to  produce  and  deliver  a  custom  award  that  would  be  worthy  of  this  pres=gious  event  and  its  credit  card  sponsor.

Svedka Vodka came to us after seeing the staff t-shirts we produced for a Miami restaurant. They were looking for a high impact design to give away to bar staff that highlighted their brand and femme bot “mascot.”

With elements from the 80’s making a comeback, we incorporated florescent colors to make a fashion statement and stand out in dimly lit bars

Univision approached SOBO to launch a line of products around their youth award show, Premios Juventud.

With rights to use just the Premios Juventud and PJ logos, we decided to focus our attention on PJ, which we believed could have brand extensions beyond the award show. We created an irreverent line of t-shirts, caps, sun glasses and wristbands, with many of the products glow-in-the-dark.

SOBO also created imagery and banners for the event to help position the brand among those attending the show.

Sushi Maki, a Japanese restaurant chain, originally requested more embroidered polos for their wait-staff. We convinced them to go in another direction… One that was sure to create impact and let their customers know that they’re not your typical, serious sushi joint.

We went with t-shirt versions of the traditional kimono for the ladies and a ninja look for the men. We also included their slogan on the back neck, “put your maki where your mouth is.”

With customers now asking to purchase the shirts, we know our mission was accomplished.

Tecate requested a unique premium that both associated their brand with the 2010 World Cup and appealed to their target audience, Mexican-Americans. The other key criteria was that the premium could not cost more than $1.00 (due to liquor laws in certain states).

SOBO came up with the idea to use face-paint in the Mexican national colors to appeal to the hard core soccer fan. The packaging was customized with emotional imagery on the front and the schedule of the World Cup games on the back.

According to Tecate’s agency, this was one of their most successful give-a-ways to date.

SOBO has worked with Miller Lite on multiple initiatives. The first was a completely custom soccer jersey that Miller used as a self-liquidator during the 2010 World Cup. The shirt was constructed from scratch and included a custom-designed Aztec graphic on the front chest with a bit of humor, in regard to the name, on the back (similar sounding to “Bien Frias, very cold”). We also included a subtle logo pattern down each side.

SOBO has since worked with Miller designing T-shirts as well as a completely customized lucha libre mask. Both are efforts to promote their sponsorship of the Chivas Guadalajara soccer club. The mask was so successful that it was reproduced twice.

SOBO helped launch the first-ever t-shirt and accessories collection for the top-rated PBS show, Antiques Roadshow. The gear was originally sold on a site managed completely by SOBO but has since been taken over by the official PBS store.

SOBO also created a collection for the PBS mini-series, Prohibition. The line was so successful that they even received orders from college campuses.

Mun2, a Hispanic youth TV station (owned by NBC Universal) was getting ready to launch a reality show based on the regional Mexican singer, Larry Hernandez. Mun2 was looking for an inexpensive give-a-way for fans as well as something they could give to advertising clients.

The premiums that were developed included a leather bracelet, designed by SOBO, as well as a bobble head that replicated everything from his dress to his goatee.

SOBO worked with factories in China for a quick turn-around, delivering on-time and on budget.

Page 14: SOBO SWAG Presentation

For the second season, of the hit show, Larrymania, Mun2 wanted to do a new bobble head and something different…

The product we decided to create was private label hot sauce. After sending the Mun2 team and Larry various flavors from which to choose, they settled on a combination of habanero and garlic.

To add further spice to the product, we also used this product to debut our new app, which helps our customers add augmented reality to their products. By scanning the label with an IOS devise, a video almost magically appears on the label (check out blog to see how it works)

As an official sponsor of Copa America 2011, MasterCard needed polos and youth t-shirts that highlighted their sponsorship of the event. The challenge was creating a design that contained the Copa America logo (on the back of our design) and also included both the MasterCard and Banco Santander logos.

Their original idea was to place the event logo on the front and the other logos on each sleeve. Based upon the success of one of the designs we sell on Surropa.com,we proposed a different strategy.

According to MasterCard, both the polos we designed for adults as well as the t-shirts for kids, were a huge success.

SOBO was recommended to Super Hero Scramble by one of our t-shirt suppliers.

They initially only thought we could only print t-shirts but quickly found out that we are truly a one-stop-shop. We helped them design & develop develop additional products such as caps, shot glasses, coozies, beer steins, water bottles. & even fully-sublimated vendor tents.

As the event grows nationally, SOBO is able to grow with them, designing and developing more customized retail products, displays, managing warehousing and fulfillment as well as their online shop.

How to deliver a unique promotional item to a bankruptcy attorney looking to brand himself in a clever way… This was a challenge that took our team in many different directions. Finally, after getting to the heart of what he does, helping clients stop worrying about losing their cars, homes, or worse, we settled on a sleep mask to convey this message. SOBO worked together with the client to come up with text that best represented his services and puts a smile on their faces during what is an extremely stressful situation.

SOBO worked with an event marketing company, hired by The Bank of the West (BOTW), to design, source and fulfill 8 different premiums for a University of Colorado, Boulder activation.

In this case, the products, including flashlight carabiners, ear-bud cord wraps, coolies, rally towels, lanyards, t-shirts, embroidered beanies and soccer scarves had already been approved by the client. SOBO worked with Eventus to design each product, to make sure they were within budget and delivered on time.

As part of the process, SOBO delivered multiple designs for each product, which were then selected by BOTW.

The  NBA  came  to  SOBO  with  a  request   that   involved   both   a  quick   turn   around   as   well   as  being  able   to  ship   the  product  to  Mexico  City.

In   less   than   1   month,   we  manufactured   and   delivered   2  versions  of  a  mini  backboard  (1  with   the   NBA   logo   and   the  other,   a   co-‐branded   logo   with  a  local  partner)  .

Clearing  Mexican   customs   can  be   a   nightmare   for   most  importers.   SOBO’s   local  partner   facilitated   the   process  and  we  made  sure  to  secure  all  the   proper   paperwork   ahead  of  =me.

Kellogg’s   needed   both  assets  (i.e.  tents)  as  well  as  promo=onal   items   as   part  of   their   sponsorship   of   a  Hispanic-‐focused   youth  soccer   tournament,   called  Copita  Alianza.

The   job  entailed  crea=ng  a  unified   look   for   elements  ranging   from   blow-‐up   &  vendor   tents,   a   blow-‐up  arch  and  spheres,  banners,  table   covers,   soccer  uniforms  for  staff,  magne=c  shopping   pads   and   printed  tournament  cards.

Approached by Clevelander Hotel in South Beach to take over their merchandise design and development. For SOBO, however, the success of the program was the most important element and the product was being sold in a non-descript part of the bar. They knew displaying it in their lobby was the best option in terms of sales potential but they didn’t want it to look cheesy and detract from the millions they recently spent renovating the hotel. We designed 4 modular displays that fit into the art deco theme and displayed the merchandise in an attractive, yet secure manner.

Page 25: SOBO SWAG Presentation

SOBO was approached by the Loews Miami Beach hotel to revamp their logo branded merchandise. Our first step was to work with their logo to create multiple iterations that would appeal to Loews customers. We also developed unique alligator and flamingo mascots for kids. Lastly, we partnered with a local Miami photographer and artist, Yuri Tuma, who’s works sell in galleries for $1000’s, to design custom sandals and notebooks and link the Loews shop to Miami’s burgeoning art community. He took photographs of the hotel and then, with the help of Photoshop, converted them into amazing works of art that customers could purchase at a fraction of the cost of his normal works.

Hoffman’s Chocolates hired SOBO for a complete brand makeover. Our responsibilities included everything from new logo design, packaging, retail design and oversight and marketing direction. SOBO continues to work with the Hoffman’s team as they continue their expansion efforts from Palm Beach to Broward County, Florida.
