LEMON TREE HOTEL, SHIMLA
INTRODUCTION:
• Located in Budman, near the outskirts of Shimla ,
LTH-Shimla is a 70 room property with a built-up
area of 8600sqm spread in a site of 3.89 acres.
• Apart from the basic rooms and suites, the hotel
has two restaurants, conference room, fitness
centre and a heated swimming pool.
• The construction of this property is in early stages
with the foundation being casted.
• The look and feel of this hotel is classic
contemporary which goes well with the overall area.

• Minimalistic touch of south indian architectural elements.
• Reference context – features, columns, brackets of south indian
architecture say colonnades of meenakshi temple, madurai, etc.
• Overhangs/ chajjas over the windows in stepped formation – a
subtle derivation of gopurams.
• Wooden bracket pergola with subtle intricacies supports the
glass canopy connecting various vantage entry points.
• The glass canopy connection across to the entry to main
reception lobby, bar and banquet is continuous for all weather
protection.
• Sloping roof with local terracotta tiles brings in a contemporary
local flavor.

• THE RESOURCE CENTRE WOULD ACT AS A PLACE WHERE ALL INFORMATION IN ALL
SORTS OF FORMAT CAN BE OBTAINED WITHIN ONE ROOF.
• THE CENTRE HOUSES A LIBRARY, AUDIO-VIDEO INFORMATION(MEDIA LIBRARY), SEMINAR
ROOMS, ETC.
• THE LIBRARY HAS A SHELF CAPACITY OF 80,000 VOLUME OF BOOKS SPREAD IN FOUR
LEVELS.

• AN OPEN AIR SEATING IS PROVIDED, WHERE ONE CAN STUDY AND ENJOY THE
