Anjali Srivastava Tulika as mentioned earlier I specialize in Kashmiri products, kishmish is not very prominently grown in Srinagar as walnuts, apricots and figs. So I don't keep kishmish but can get it arranged for you. I would also suggest to buy the irani or kabuli kishmish as they are the more purer forms and not just dipped into added artificial sugars. Those kishmish is around 1200kg. I use this one in my house.

Shefali Saxena After some trials and errors, I stick to Sindhi Namkeen for Walnuts & Almonds and mixed seeds all varieties are available at Spencers. Quality of either is not the best-est, but saves me a trip to Delhi/old Gurgaon. Sindhi sells walnuts for Rs 1600-1800, the same quality which Spencers sells for 22-2400.

Shefali Saxena Yes I found Spencer reasonable for seeds. Its an open counter so one can buy just 50 gms too. Don't remember rates exactly as I mixed few seeds, just remember chia was Rs 70/100 gm and rest also similar range, Rs 35-70/100 gm.

fruits are availAble at modern bazaar & they are not soaked . Simply put in a bit of sugar syrup which would prolong the shelf life. I got my stuff for Christmas cake from there.

But the point I was trying to make is that INA (whatever I bought) wasnt that great quality or price and similar available at Sindhi Namkeen also. I think Sadar Bazaar in Gurgaon may be better (I havent been yet but many people recommended that when I'd asked this q a couple weeks back)

Gaurav Sehgal One word of caution here, this year's walnut harvest is impacted by the floods in Kashmir from where most of it comes. You may be getting previous years hence the taste and quality is not good. I think the only other choice is to source the imported ones. I am not sure on the brands though..

RemoveShefali Saxena Its called Chilgoza. Available at Spencers, Sindhi Namkeen in Vyapar Kendra/Arjun marg. Also available at all supermarkets/Modern etc but I find Spencers and Sindhi better.
