AVPM on tour?

So I was surfing around the web the other day, and I heard talk saying that AVPM (A VeryPotter Musical, for those who don't know) is going on tour. I haven't seen anything here onMNI or on Mugglenet about it though. Also, for fans like me, I know it sounds really odd,seeing as how StarKid said that they were never going on tour due to the cast being split upand money issues. Yet again, what if they got an increase in their budget? Like, if somebodyreally rich who really loved the musical donated or something... I could see that happening,seeing as I would definently donate myself (even though I'm not rich, sadly ). Since theymade the statement saying that they weren't doing it, I can only imagine that AVPM's

popularity could only have grown. I mean seriously, have you taken a look around the HPfandom lately? And the cast wouldn't have to be all the same as the original, though it would

pain me deeply to see anyone but Lauren as Draco, and Darren as Harry. I really hope that

this is true though.. I'd love to go see it live.. and I know that I'm not the only one who thinksthat.

Has anyone else on here besides me heard about this?

press released for another couple weeks…umm well anyways, since the cat is out of the bagapparently… I can actually confirm this rumor. My friend Wyatt Svendsen is a tour manager and a short while back he was approached by StarKid about heading a live tour. He, being ahuge AVPM fan, agreed and they are currently working out the contracts with him and the

possible venues. This is supposed to be under wraps still but, obviously the totally awesomenews has been leaked. Regardless I am excited about it all!

So, one of the nice things about being good friends with your manager (who is also a major gossip) is that you learn the best information possible.

Kevin informed me today that there is a chance a few of our stores will have the AVPM crewthere. Since Emerson Spartz's book tour was so popular at several Borders, specifically ours,some Border's locations might be added to the tour stops. And since our store was one of theones in the Chicago area Spartz went to, our store might be on the list. Especially since we

just had a major National Event at our store recently and handled it well, we were "noticed" by some of the corporate bigwigs.

I think I made my manager deaf when he told me. >_>
