WHAT IF YOUR ARTWORK DOESN’T ADHERE TO THE ABOVE SPECIFICATIONS? Our in house staff of designers can help perfect your branding or can create something completely new. These designs services are billed at $35/hour, prorated to the quarter of the hour.
WHAT IF I’M NOT SURE IF IT MEETS THE SPECIFICATIONS? Don’t worry! We’d never run an order that we knew would produce subpar results. If there’s an issue with your artwork – such as the design running outside of the bleed zone or the resolution being too low to produce a quality print – we’ll let you know before we begin manufacturing your order. Should that be the case, you can either have your designer make the necessary changes to meet the above specifications or we can do it for you for the additional design fee.
TIPS & INFORMATION FOR COFFEE SLEEVE DESIGNS Black ink – in one color – prints the best on brown Kraft Paper sleeves. If you use a wide range of colors, the colors may shift or become cloudy when printed on the brown paper. A yellow will not “pop” like it normally does and will show as more of a brown. In addition to the brown background, the paper is more absorbent so it is not as sharp as our corrugated white sleeves.
For full range or exact color matching, please choose white coffee sleeves. Our white corrugated sleeves are coated and provide a true white as a base and the colors will print accurately. We can match Pantone colors as long as there is a CMYK value provided, however results may differ from on-screen viewing.
The image will take on the shape of the cup and look tapered or slightly distorted. We add a 5% arc so that when the sleeve is opened the art will maintain its appearance. Distortion is noticeable with straight lines, lines of text and large solids. Because the corrugated surface is textured the imprint may show subtle tonal changes that appear as printed lines.
