SKINS shield the body from harmful UV rays, with 50+ UV protection in all non-mesh areas on all SKINS garments. The only thing getting burnt should be your PBs.
WARP KNIT TECHNOLOgyThe fabric in SKINS is warp knitted using multiple fine quality yarns for added strength. Our warp knit fabric has been developed to include our own Elastane mix so it delivers specific levels of elasticity and perfectly controlled compression, guaranteeing your SKINS return to their original tension and shape. The warp knit structure is also highly durable.

SKINS BIOMECHANICAL DESIgN
FOCUSED COMPRESSION AND MUSCLE SUPPORTSKINS are designed to wrap and support key muscle groups with panels positioned to follow your natural muscle and tendon structure. The seams are biomechanically placed to act as anchor points, offering focused support and stability to major muscle groups, promoting a heightened sense of proprioception (spacial awareness, in case you were wondering). The wrapping effect and specific compression help to reduce soft tissue damage and muscle soreness.
FREEDOM OF MOVEMENTSKINS A400 garments use a low denier Memory MX fabric around the knees on long tights and around the obliques, down the spine and in the lower back on tops. This medically applicable, elastomeric yarn provides consistent compression but also supports the bodys natural movements with perfect stretch and recovery to allow complete freedom of movement.
INjURy PREVENTIONIf your sport includes running or jumping, and lets face it, theres not too many sports that dont, then you could be at risk of Iliotibial Band (ITB), Tensor Fascia Latae (TFL) and calf muscle injuries. In SKINS A400, high denier, Memory MX panels reduce pressure on the ITB and TFL muscle groups to ensure their natural function without any unnecessary force. A split seam on the lateral and medial gastrocnemius calf muscles helps to reduce localised fatigue and limit the risk of injury.

400 Series: We took 3D full body scans of hundreds of amateur and professional athletes of all shapes and sizes. From the 800,000 measurements collected of each person, we established 400 key fitting points which form the basis of all 400 Series garments. As well as enabling us to maximise blood flow during activity, the research allowed us to ensure ultimate comfort of our 400 Series ranges.
200 Series: SKINS A200 uses a unique Body Mass Index (BMI) sizing algorithm to determine the best size and fit for your body.

400 Series: Both temperature control and moisture management are taken care of in the new A400 with a cutting edge technology out of Switzerland: ADAPTIVE by HeiQ. At low temperatures, the unique polymer binds moisture in its structure keeping you feeling warm and dry. As your temperature increases it changes its properties, releasing the stored moisture to the surface where it evaporates and cools your skin. Recent testing at RMIT University in Melbourne has shown that wearing SKINS treated with ADAPTIVE by HeiQ can keep you cooler than not wearing anything at all.

The A-Seam was developed specially for technical athletic wear its sleek construction means it sits flat against your body to eliminate chafing. Its also 30% stronger than a standard stitch making your SKINS even more durable than before.
Bonded hems use an adhesive film in place of stitching. These hems are highly elastic so wont dig in like some stitched hems can, resulting in a streamlined look and an even more comfortable fit.
