This update of our Sindarin Dictionary is for the first time in English, in the context of the

new English part of our website.

We have tried to present you a practical linguistic tool.

In this dictionary, you will find only the words, without any etymology, always in a practical

sense. For the Etymology, please have a look on Helge Fauskanger’s Sindarin Wordlist

http://www.uib.no/people/hnohf

http://www.uib.no/people/hnohf/parviphith.doc

You will find also a lot of interesting grammatical features on Thorsten Renk’s website:

http://www.phy.duke.edu/~trenk/elvish/

and of course on the very good Sindarin Lexicon website

http://www.sindarin.de/

In this edition, we present you more words, but also more plural forms. We’ve chosen mainly

the analogical construction when it’s doubtful.

We hope this dictionary will be useful

This dictionary exists in book form too. Please refer to our website if you’re interested in it.
