The Siem Helix 1 and Siem Helix 2 vessels are purpose designed well intervention vessels capable of all aspects of riser based through tubing well intervention operations as well as emergency response capabilities and well construction.

Specific field operation capabilities also include subsea pumping and boosting, maintenance and retrieval capabilities. The Siem Helix 1 and Siem Helix 2 are 158 m vessels combining exceptional operational capabilities with excellent performance and station keeping. Helix well operations will incorporate the latest technology in testing, handling, deploying, operating and retrieving the intervention riser system and associated well services, providing optimum capability and efficiency for conducting through tubing well intervention.

The Siem Helix 1 and Siem Helix 2 are classed as Well Intervention Unit 2 vessels and operate in up to 3,000 m of water with transit speed in excess of 12 kn, capable of providing service quickly and efficiently where needed.
