Shraddha hospital was established in January 2008. Hospital operation began in the modified girls’ dormitory building on the grounds of the Excellent English Medium School in Vahera, Gujarat.

So far hospital has treated over hundred thousand patients in this facility. Shraddha Hospital has been rendering valuable service in medical field for last 8 years. Under the roof of this hospital Dr.Paresh Patel has actively served the humanitarian work for people of Borsad.

Each human has right to life. He has dreamt of serving people without discriminating on basis of caste, creed or religion, without consideration of economic condition equal medical technology is applied to one and all.

The new hospital building construction started in November 2011 on the land trust has purchased in 2005. This facility will be a 110 bed facility with deluxe, semi-deluxe and private rooms, separate male and female wards, maternity and children’s wards.

It will also include four operating rooms, an endoscopy facility and an intensive care unit (ICU) & Physiotherapy facility. Approximate cost for this project is Rs.10 crores.

Dr.Paresh Patel had a thriving surgical practice Cleveland, Ohio. His wife is an Oncologist. He decided to serve the community of Borsad area. He quit his practice in USA and relocated to India.

Initially with the help of community a non-functional girls school hostel building was given to him to start where he started a 30 to 40 bed hospital in January 2008.

There was a need of brand new hospital therefore he decided to build 110 bed hospital. Acquisition of land was completed in 2005 and as per new land law the project was delayed.

Hence original estimate of Rs. 6 crores has now mounted to another more then 10 crore rupees for the completion of the project. Once the project gets completed this hospital will be a boon to borsad and its surrounding community.
