SHOWING OFF YOUR WEAPON
GOOD OR BAD?
GUNS AND HOBBIES
A great hobby is gun collection There is a large variety of gun clubs that you can join Support items that can be bought
These things help spread the word about gun advocacy
RESPONSIBILITY WITH GUNS
Guns are a little different than typical hobbies however There is more responsibility dealing with guns than other
typical hobbies would have Keeping your collection safe from others is one of those
responsibilities
STICKERS
Lets take a scenario and decide are stickers a good idea: Say that you park at a store that doesn’t allow firearms inside.
You leave your gun in the car and proceed inside. A criminal happens to be checking cars in the parking lot, notices your sticker that says something gun related. You come back out your car has been broken into and your gun is gone.
Maybe not the best idea to promote that you carry.
SIGNS
A house could have the same principle applied to it. A burglar is either going to go for an easy house, or a house
that’s worth risking it on. If you are not home, this could make your house a
prime target for the burglar to acquire some new guns for his collection.
CLOTHING
Say you are walking down the street wearing a shirt branding your favorite gun manufacturer.
Does this promote or deter a mugger from attacking you. Not only that, isn’t the point of concealed carry to carry
without anybody around you knowing? Don’t make it easy for them to find out.
REAL WORLD SITUATION
Most thieves would probably prefer to go with the car or house scenario.
The t-shirt one is a little more risky and most thieves wouldn’t want to risk it
Either way, its probably a better idea not to advertise weapons Place the stickers, shirts, and signs aside and carry concealed
using an inside the waistband holster for maximum concealment
