The Show Your Card & Save® program was established in 1993 as a way to build value in the discount offerings for AAA members. At its inception, the program had just seven national partners. The program now has over 160,000 participating merchant locations nationwide. Show Your Card & Save partners tap into the AAA brand loyalty that runs wide and deep. Through the program, partners can reach their ideal customers, win back customers and generate incremental sales.

FAQ

Can any business or organization become a Show Your Card & Save Partner?

No, partners are reviewed by AAA Carolinas and must meet certain qualifications and standards.

How much does becoming a partner cost?

There is no cost to become a partner except for the savings you offer our members. Your organization is a preferred establishment and a benefit to our members. Logoed items or gift certificates for promotional activities are welcomed.

Are there any restrictions on the type of savings I can offer?

Your discount must be equal to or better than any similar offer ongoing to another organization accessible to the general public. Your offer can be a percentage off a total purchase, dollars saved, or value added. Your offer should be grand enough to get attention and encourage new business, while protecting your margin.

Do I need to sign an agreement?

There is a simple licensing agreement you must sign. It allows us to advertise your business’ offer to our members. Most agreements last at least a year. You may also need to complete a Savings Application to be admitted into the program.

Can I cancel my agreement?

You or AAA may cancel the offer at anytime as long as either party informs the other 60 days before the offer is to cease or as noted in your licensing agreement.

In 1902, delegates from other auto clubs met in Chicago to create the American Automobile Association.
