Should Smoking Be Banned? Pertaining to history, smoking had been introduced to world long before civilisation occurred. During Second World War, soldiers who were low in morale were given cigarette to smoke in order to keep up their spirits. But by the year of 1990, health conscious among citizens and medical practice of USA had questioned the effects of smoking precisely on health thus more restrictions on smoking in public area or transport were enforced. Nonetheless, smoking influences our youth to become more aggressive and this worldwide phenomenon is very discouraging thus on behalf of youth today I certainly second the thought to ban smoking precisely in public area due to health problem, social matter and  According to study in the Archives of Internal Medicine , old folks who smoke during their middle age are highly prone to suffer memory lost. While in 2003, approximately 157, 200 people died from lung cancer and 90% of them were men and almost 80% in women. In fact, there are countless of health issues that are linked back to smoking cigarette. Not just smoking is bad for our health but it also risking people around us. Second hand smokers or passive smokers actually have higher risk to be effected by µkiller compositions¶ in cigarettes. Thus, by this thought, government must enforce the law to ban smoking in public area.
