Shift4 P2PE Hardware Guide Choose your device, call Shift4 Support, and we’ll get you to the right partner to prepare your order.Shift4 enables Ingenico to offer two separate encryption keys, either of which can be installed on the devices below. Shift4 recommends that merchants alternate the keys on the devices to provide an added layer of security (e.g., a merchant with two devices would have key 1 on the first device and key 2 on the other device). To ensure that your device is properly configured, please provide the correct hardware, Shift4 configuration, and encryption-key SKUs when ordering. Please note that neither Ingenico nor the distributor has a specific debit key, so you will need to request the debit key transfer from your merchant services provider or acquiring bank to complete the key injections.
