Experience as both sole artist and team member of accident reconstruction projects that includeanalysis, measurement, 3d modeling, texturing, painting, lighting, camera matching, rigid, soft body and particle simulation, photo matching, video matching, motion graphics, color correction, grading, and deep image compositing.

Develops scientically accurate media that adheres to stringent criteria and standards of the United States Federal Court System and Daubert motions. Clearly presents critical and complex concepts to jury, judiciary, and counsel in mediation and settlement negotiations.

Manages projects for plainti’s pursuing litigation for engineering deciencies against companiessuch as Ford and Freightliner. Guides multiple concurrent eorts of varied scope and budget.

Recreates product failure and accident reconstruction by incorporating 3d laser scanning, photogrammetry, videogrammetry, and simulation data for accurate virtual recreations. Integrates site environments incorporating geospatial USGS elevation and orthoimagery. Simulated environmental elements include lighting, visibility, fog, haze, wind conditions, re simulation, vehicle light, and trac signal timing.

Developed and implemented the transportation visualization division. Duties include integrationof VISSIM simulation data of automobiles, pedestrians, and trains into photorealistic environments. Coordinates with planners and project managers to develop visualization that supports key messaging to be used in public meetings and open houses.

Jacobs Visual Media GroupVisual Technology Specialist | Media Designer

Developed multimedia design visualizations that were used to secure stakeholder support and investor funding for Architecture and Engineering projects. The visualizations were instrumental to winning major A&E service contracts for Jacobs. Media deliverables were also used to communicate design impact upon the communities aected and led to increased public engagement. Examples include:

Swayed over opponents to the NJDOT’s proposal to replace the Route 36 Highlands Bridge. Project demanded high quality composite renderings and animations to verify that the proposed new bridge did not interfere with the historical landmark: “Twin Light’s” lighthouse vantages.

Obtained funding from Capitol Hill thru renderings, animation, and an interactive real-time environment depicting the master plan of the U.S. Army base, Fort Bliss, in El Paso, Texas.

Secured funding for a ballistic missile launch test facility. Jacobs and its partner, Northrop Grumman, proposed a new “waterless” testing facility. Animations being driven by computational engineering simulations were developed and utilized to describe the procedural preparation, ring trajectories, and recovery of the nation’s latest Intercontinental Ballistic Missile vehicles at the U.S Air Force base in Cape Canaveral Florida. The animation demonstrated the methodology of introducing simulated drag forces that occur from an underwater submarine launch via tension cables. For the rst time, engineers also proposed to catch the projectile in a gravel pit versus apool of water, reducing maintenance and specialized dive sta.

Created a y-thru visualization of the master plan proposal for a new city in Abu Dhabi of 50,000. Was bid on and won through the use of a descriptive animation. The city was designed digitally and conveyed the proposed planning techniques to be utilized.

Expanded the VIZ department’s architectural visualization services to include Science and Technology, and Infrastructure divisions, through integration of engineering simulation data into photorealistic context. Examples include:

Generated photorealistic trac simulations of the predicted behavior of vehicle motorists given alternative proposed routes for the FDOT. The vehicles were simulated in VISSIM; the options informed the community to analyze the benets and/or consequence of the dierent proposed scenarios.

Constructed trac phasing animations used by TxDOT to communicate the time frame for completion of a project and MOT schemes.

educationGeorgia Institute of TechnologyBachelors of Design in ArchitectureAtlanta, Georgia

Focused on the implementation of computational methods in the design of architecture. Studies were directed towards algorithmic architecture via parametric modeling techniques. Rendering, animation, and stereo lithographic models were explored to convey designs that could not be expressed through traditional techniques. Research culminated in developing designs from scale models to full scale installations via digital manufacturing utilizing CAD/CAM.

As an Undergraduate in a Graduate Research position, contributed to the virtual model of the Georgia Institute of Technology's campus-both existing and proposed. Modeled and textured existing blocks in the city of Atlanta for incorporation into an overall model of the city. The models were used then to generate animations and interactive media products for a future historical record of the city.
