Seventh grade rules are based on values

such as: honesty, respect, and responsibility.

We expect students to demonstrate good behavior, inside and outside of

the class.

We want a school free of bullying.

Page 9: SEVENTH GRADE

To develop confidence and self-esteem.

To create an educational learning

environment that promotes confidence and respect.

To look for preventive methods more than corrective. We use Behavior contracts, parent meetings, Incident Refelction Form (IRF) and “WAPOOF”.

Seventh grade teachers are committedto do the following:

Page 10: SEVENTH GRADE

To promote effective communication between parents and teachers.

To develop a sense of community service.

To develop writing and reading skills across the curriculum.

We believe our main mission is to teach students to be life-long learners.

Page 12: SEVENTH GRADE

After SIX tardies- a phone call to the parents and a “Why Am I Late” reflection sheet is given to the student.

After ELEVEN tardies- 90 minutes of restitution (community service) is completed. This is to get the students to realize after being late they will give some time back to teachers.

After FIFTEEN tardies- Fry will host a 45 minute walking club at 7:00 a.m. once a bimester. There will be a parent meeting to go along with this.

After twenty tardies in one bimester- you will be suspended in-school for one day.

IF you have been a member of the walking club twice and receive your third invitation then you will be suspended in-school for one day.

Tardy Policy

SERVICE LEARNING PROJECTÁrea de Nefrología del Hospital

CivilThis year our Service Learning takes place at the Hospital Civil in the Nephrology Pediatric unit (renal insufficiency), under the charge of Dr. Jacob Sandoval. This is the area where kids with severe kidney problems are treated by dialysis or hemodialysis. Some of them are awaiting a transplant.

The Nephrology Pediatric Unit treats approximately 100 patients, starting from newborn to age sixteen. This group may vary from patients who need special attention daily or by appointment, and their parents receive a very low income.
