Clean Air provides a complete range Biological Safety Cabinets offering the highest personnel and/or product and environmental protection. These state of the art cabinets have been designed in consultation with a variety of customers to incorporate user-friendly requirements and ergonomics. This has resulted in high quality reliable cabinets that comply with the highest standards for biologi-cal safety which have low noise-levels and are easy to operate.

Clean Air EuroFlow Biological Safety Cabinets are appreciated for their solid construction, while providing the high-est safety and maximum convenience. These cabinets can be used for applications that require the highest protection and safety. Examples are applications assigned to bio-safety levels 1,2 or 3 and production of (cyto-toxic) medicines.

Series EuroFlow Biological Safety Cabinets Class II provide personnel, product, cross-contamination and environmental protection.

Certified in accordance with EN 12469 and DIN 12980 (2004-02)

Series EuroFlow type EF and EF/B are tested and certified in accordance with EN 12469. Type EF/B is also tested and certified in accordance with DIN 12980 (2004-02).Type EF/B is in addition equipped with a V-shaped HEPA (H14) filter section, mounted underneath the worktop. After passing the pre-filter section, all con-taminated air will pass the V-shaped HEPA filters, therefore the inside of the cabinet remains free of con-tamination. These cabinets are often used for cyto-tox-ic or high risk microbiological applications. The V-shaped HEPA filters can be exchanged under safe conditions.

ErgonomicsThe ergonomic design of the cabinet guarantees an excellent working position. The integrated epoxy-coat-ed armrest delivers a great contribution to comfort and safety. Optional series EuroFlow is equipped with an ergonomic designed support-frame with integrated footrest. The combined sliding and hinged window construction creates more space for loading / unload-ing and simplifies cleaning.

Flexfront keypadSeries EuroFlow is equipped with a state of the art flex front membrane keypad, which is directed to the user to optimise the view on the relevant functions and alarms.

Pre-filter and drip trayTo increase the lifetime of the HEPA filters the cabinets have the option to install a large surface pre-filter, type G3, according EN 779 and integrated drip tray construction underneath the worktop (standard with type EF/B).

Cleaning and decontaminationThe working area of series EuroFlow is a mono-construction, therefore seamless and easy to clean. For service applications it might be necessary to decontaminate the cabinet for example by using the Formalin Ammonium System FAS2000. The laminated safety glass window can be hermetically closed by a dedicated locking system, this allows gaseous disin-fection.

all series EuroFlow cabinets are equipped with heat wired electronic flow sensors. This ensures a superior safety of person-

nel and product protection due to the faster response time.

Worktop with V-shaped air slitsThe stainless steel, single piece worktop with V-shaped air slits on the front, provides a superior safe-ty compared to flat slits. Sleeves will be less contaminated and blocking of the inflow is almost impossible.

Multi-shell construction

Everlasting qualityRobust design, cabinet constructed out of 1,5 - 2 mm epoxy coated steel or stainless steel.

Rigid Negative Pressure DesignThe durable “fail-safe-filter-plenum” is surrounded by neg-ative pressure to prevent contaminated air to escape into the laboratory. All contaminated components are surrounded by negative pressure. This design enables fast and safe changing of each HEPA-filter separately via the front side of the cabinet.

Factory testingBefore shipment each Clean Air Biological Safety Cabinet is validated to ensure safety as well as com-pliance with standards and regulations (EN 12469). These tests include visual inspection, electrical safety, unit performance, HEPA filter efficiency, airflow patterns and volumetric airflow rates. The test certificate is supplied with each cabinet.

3 Year Warranty ProtectionClean Air is confident in the quality delivered. Therefore we are able to back our Biological Safety Cabinets with a full three year warranty. Ask for our waranty conditions.

Specials, projects and custom made adjustments.Besides the standard applications for Biological Safety Cabinets and Clean Benches our customers also have a need for unique products or adjustments to standard products. These could be small adjustments like incorporating a microscope or weighing system for accurate weighing of toxic/hazardous products to large custom made isolator systems for filling lines, compounding, mixing, dispensing and isotopes.
