How fun that ALL of us who attendSeminar will walk across stage in front of all 10,000 women to do ourPink Cadillac team march together!!!! Yay YOU!!!!

HOW TO APPEAR CONFIDENT Control your attitude toward yourself and other people. Expect

acceptance and grant it.

Don’t try to read what others are thinking, but be aware that they’re reading you, and give them what you want them to see. Your facial expression should be relaxed, the corners of the mouth lifted, lips apart, and slightly smiling. Scared people frown; confident people smile.

Initiate. You can’t wait for someone else to break the ice. Initiate humor; initiate touching.

Take your time. Pause when you enter a room, and do so frequently as you speak.

Ask questions. You’ll make somebody else feel important.

Touch. The one who touches is in control. How you touch is important. Touch only acceptable places, such as the wrist, arm, and shoulder.

Show you’re human. Deal as one human to another, not one role to another. As humans we are equal. Most people want to lower themselves when they petition. But that only makes the person you’re talking to uncomfortable.

Your Attitude Will Affect your Altitude in Business and in Life So, today as we finish another Seminar year, I am compelled to share a “Daily Lesson in Leadership I learned from Mary Kay Ash.” Mary Kay Ash encouraged us to have a “check-up from the neck up” daily. She shared that life, business, relationships and family were 90 percent attitude and 10 percent technique. She would rather have had a leader with an A+ attitude and a C– technique because she could mentor their growth as they were willing to learn, and they were humble and had a sense of humor. But, someone with A+ skill and a C– attitude seemed to struggle more on effort, results, commitment, fear, education and joy. The spirit of an A+ attitude leader seems to include respect, gratefulness, love, self responsibility and being others-focused. The person with less of a positive attitude often seems to focus on what went wrong, what is wrong, and something or someone to blame. I challenge each of us,

as Mary Kay asked of all of us attending lunch that day in 1996, to check our attitudes daily. She said, “If you think you can, you can; if you think you can’t, you’re right.” Please enjoy passing on this lesson of leadership and value that I learned from Mary Kay Ash.
