    provide relief to farmers in view of deficit monsoon in various parts of the country. The Centre launches the Pradhan Mantri Khanij Kshetra Kalyan Yojana (PMKKKY) for the welfare of areas and

    people affected by Mining related operations, using the funds generated by District Mineral Foundations (DMFs). The Egypt government has resigned amid corruption inquiry. Sharif Ismail, the country's oil minister formed a

    new cabinet. The Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has received the SKOCH Award for smart governance. The first ever bilateral maritime exercise between Australia and India AUSINDEX-15 commenced in Vizag

    The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully launched "Astrosat", India's first dedicated satellite for astronomy research from Sriharikota along with six small foreign satellites.
